The Gay Rap Movement

well said Ivan

yea,
and I would be more than happy to feature a talented gay rapper on any of my tracks if I was ever offered.

that would be an opportunity if anything.

for the rest of the people on here:
don't forget
there was a time when white rappers where shunned from the industry
now look at it

so taboos don't last

a big movement is coming and you would be smart to get on board rather than getting in the way

after all,
history hasn't been too kind to those who got in the way of civil rights movements in music right before they exploded onto the scene

Hip Hop is hypocrisy though when it comes to that. We all know it's true. lesbians "Hell yeah!!! I wanna Menage!!!" Gay dudes "the **** that shit is wrong"

...Am I the only one that finds this shit ridiculous?

No, I find it totally ridiculous.

It almost sounds like the

I like anorexic girls only movement

I like girls with real hair only movement

I like girls with gold grills movement

... gimmicks.

Hip Hop is bombarded with the masculine concepts provided by closed minded, closeted caricatures' who's soul content is about how straight they are and how much of a man they are MORE THAN the other "men" around them. Hip Hop has been about the fact that men are MEN so much that there IS A DIFFERENCE between male and female rappers, black and white rappers, christian and gangster rappers, and so on. Now, we will sub-genre just that much more, and continue to make more money for Hip Hip with a niche unexploited. If anything y'all need to quit hating on the concept and be proud that there's yet somewhere else that Hip Hop can go to make struggling peoples lives easier.
No hate just something I do not want to see. To be totally honest I am not into the whole gay thing in general. I mean if you want to do it cool more power to you its your life to live. I just personally don't want to see it. Its no different than men marrying their female cousins I would say the same shit. I don't hate gay people I just don't agree with their choice.

we all cool with lesbians though right?
I'd rather not see that in hip hop either to be honest.

When will people realize that their is no more Hip Hop.

It's an old outdated term that people still use.

There is only rap now.

No, I find it totally ridiculous.

I agree.

Anything in "MUSIC" that's needs it's own extended title is a gimmick SWAG Movement, Trap Movement, Crunk Movement, Gay Movement, Hyphy Movement, I could go on forever but the gay movement is to be expected all of the major cities have strong gay presence and this let's be "OPEN MINDED" CRAP is just another way to get them into the mainstream I don't have a problem with gay people and can care less about the "MOVEMENT" but I call a spade, a spade when I
see one, this is planned "Frank Ocean" coming out isn't a mere coincidence.

KelevraOne

that would be the hypocrisy on the male side

they're fine with it if it involves girl on girl action

Ole........."well......if you straight guys like to see two women get it on....why not two men" face ass.

"I like to watch threesome porn.........he doing her and him doing him....because I'm not a hypocrite...I don't discriminate...I'm really watching her.....really.....I'm not paying attention to the dude behind the dude....not really" face ass.

I hate watching free porn.....clicking a link to a video and shit....all of a sudden some dude is bent all over the table with a transvestite behind him. Shit pisses me off.

You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

I truly believe this...now that doesn't mean I can't feel their pain...compassion is a must but so is the truth
abomination truly..being gay is okay....actually having sex with another man abomination
I know a lot of gay must struggle with being gay..
I can't imagine their pain and shame...
some don't have any of that
they are like this dude here
it's like some gays try hard to look like females why???? I always wonder that...
this is the guy from Realhouses wives of Atlanta I was actually looking for the dude that being wearing those heels and stuff.. I get a laugh out of the guy from his clothes but I wouldn't shame him in his face by laughing ...but I just can't help it ...it's weird and funny to see a guy looking like a woman..or womanly...

but are there truly gay people ? aren't they at least a bit bi ?

i can't imagine feeling not attracted to a beautiful girl

yea, but if they made their rhymes about the civil rights battle
like just ripping apart everyone who's causing these gay teen suicides
they'd find their market without having to be overtly sexual (which would probably turn off a lot of potential fans)

lots of people can relate to being stigmatized or dealing with bigotry in general
so I think it would be quite marketable in that way
and if not it would still appeal to all of us who aren't gay and support them..
so I think that it would work if well planned out

whether or not society is ready for a gay rapper they will
come along and they will be ready someday

@DaVizzy @mrwonderful

you guys don't have to read the thread you know.
you're not being forced.

New groups to the scene are completely relevant to the rap game anyways.

You might not have the foresight to see it,
but this is coming

You're right we are not being forced. But we are being vocal..
That's what hip hop is all about.
Speaking what's on your mind.

We aren't in support of the gay agenda.

I'm anti-gay and anti-swag **** that shit.

Let me guess we should start welcoming rapists and child molesters to the scene as well ?
