How many actual placements have you heard about unknown producers on PMP getting?
The answer could be 0 or 200, it wouldn't change my opinion that you have a good site for the right people.
Abom said:The label money is drying up....The street money is starting to flow again...the producers with track records are not on the pmp because they need placements they're there because they want the indie and international doe. These are the people that you need to be paying attention to because their the ones that already know how to get checks...and they have no problem reppin themselves on the pmp...and most of them put up their own bread.

i was thinking the same thing...even if a person has a chance of getting placement....depending on the person/artist or whatever, it might take a while to get back to them.....
for example a lot of artist hear a beat...(get it from a&r or however) and if they're feeling it, they put a song together for it.......
same thing happens if they hear another beat.....
so they might have a bunch of songs they've put together..... but then.....they're weeding thru the ones the like the most...
so like just cause a track dumped ended say......... yesterday........doesnt mean (if they heard something they liked) they're gona contact u the next day about the beat submitted....
thats the way i look at it........ and must of the folks that are on there (including me) are fairly new.... 1-2 months in (not saying everyone).

i'm also very lucky to live in New York City so i have a great local scene and i can easily set up meetings with A&Rs than people outside of big cities like NYC & LA.
once i think my beats would have a chance with industry guys i will definitely consider using PMP as an additional way to hustle.
thx a ton to abom and all the guys for thinking of this site. you guys are genius for thinking of a site like this that can actually yield results.
