I'm huge not a swizz fan either but its almost without fail that what majority of producers don't like the general public does... all that song stucture music theory chords and pitch mumbo jumbo most people don't care about.... Keep it simple stupid... simplicity and repitiption is the song that people will remember and get hype to without having ot think about it...

Swizz taps into that primal part that just makes you wanna move and not think about that the song is really a 8bar loop on repeat.

No doubt...my chick already makes funny faces sometimes when I play some off the wall ish that I just made....being that she's a pianist I would imagine she makes some mean ass faces when he plays some of that wack ish....either expect Swizz to get better or commit suicide from embarassment

I wanna hear some of these records since theres so many. Melody and rythmn are the two most important parts of hip hop.

Ive never heard a HIT hip hop record with just drums, and if there are any they're to far and in between for anyone to care.
 
man i'd rate swizz as one of the best producers of all time. hes got a deep track record, mad versatile. can kill any kinda beat . hes been working for a long ass time and has still stayed relevant.

those are just a few. Listen to most of Timbaland or the Neptunes' work. Its mostly drum driven. Hip Hop has always been Vocal, Drums, Bass, Melody. In that order.

Every song you put up there has a melody in it....lol Snoop has a couple of them.... A melody is a combination of pitch and rythmn, thats repeated throughout a song in various forms.

u can't exclude majority of RZA's work to call his solo stuff the worst ever.... Rza overall is a dope producer...
Swizz IMO sucks horribly when it comes to originality, but ppl love heearing the same thing just like they love watching reruns or shows about the same shyt (reality tv)... he's catchy, he's found a nitch, and he's managed to alter it ever so slightly to continue to cater to the masses
Rockwilder... i can't honestly say i have enough material that I'm aware of to really judge him...

instrumentation, melody and rhythm are totally different things. Melody generally refers to a lead of some sort. The other sounds are more like accents than anything else. Rhythm and melody are not closely tied at all. Generally melody follows the rhythm that is already established ie tempo.

I know Swizz, Rockwilder, and even Bob Digi have songs that I like a lot. I've never heard a Nenapel song that I liked though. Which could coincide with the fact that I've never heard a Nenapel song period. So yeah, my #1 would be Nenapel.
