i never really like swizz beats music. I like on to the next one... maybe a couple other songs. It seems like his beats are made to grab you in...i swear some songs are made just for the purpose of standing out.

Agree with xabiton bout the early dmx tracks Where the hood at, Get it on the floor. Album was close to being classic largely thanks to them tracks and a few others.
RZA We Pop was crazy. peace.
 
Swizz is trash but the masses are brainwashed and you can see them anything! Ther are so many trash producers today it ain't even funny squad!!!

The best Hip Hop producer of all time for straight bangers (forget sales and all that stuff) is Premo!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said it once and I'll say it again. The masses are morons especially in Hip Hop. How many true heads are out there today. When somebody like Waka can get on and have a buzz that should tell you right there. The masses (in Hip Hop) are always looking for the next beat or next rapper (not MC). The elementary beats that some of these producers are making and getting paid for is confirmation to me!
 
all the wackest producers are all guys you've never heard of because they haven't (and wont) made it.
all the guys named have some talent if their stuff is getting spins.

even though i agree that you have to understand how to make a beat and what sounds good. i think its more name and reputation than beat making. ron browz....made one beat ether and does the one year average yet he is a multi mill earner. because he is just isn't embarrassed to talk to anybody. and get his plays

Oh I here ya im just giving yall crap, I usually judge "best or worst beats" by a producer based off of that producers known ability. Ron Browz is surprisingly really talented but choses to make crap like pop champagne because autotune was hot at the time so he gets the gas face, but hey....it did work. I like his mindset of not being afraid to talk to the people he wants to work with.

Swizzy gets a lot of hate for being wack but people convieniently forget that he was the musical force behind one of the most powerful and crushing hip hop crews (ruff ryders) of that era, and his sound was sought after alot in the rnb world (monica) because of that. very party "pump it up" oriented. could do without his adlibs or voice on the track at all but it happens (bigghostface said that ninja look like a "Whippet" for those of you who know what that it is that is a hearty LOL).

RZA - seems to suffer from a classic case of "hey he's not doing what im used to!" with his fans. when you come in to the game doing gritty underground ny music and you end up doing odd introverted music all while talking about all the stuff you did in the past that made you hot people will lose you. people forget that when you move up the ladder you start getting around other influences, im not a big follower of his music but from what i have seen in interviews this guy was doing movie scores by the time he got into his bobby digital phase.
 
Swizz might not be as good now, but his catalog before the mid 2000's speaks for itself.

And RZA and Rockwilder are dope.

i never understood the Swizz hate. I think people hate Swizz because of his adlibs more than anything. He usually ****s up his own produced songs when he's featured lol.

Dude is one of the most consistent producers period, hate it or love it he has hits for days

and lets not forget about that Ruff Ryders catalog, SPECIALLY DMX
 
Swizz did a lot of hard stuff with the Ruff Ryders and RZA is classic no matter what. the fact they are being hated kinda makes me shake my head at the ridiculous thought of even postin this thread...
 
Swizz has a serious track record tho for all his flaws, have to admit that.

but pop rap will always be appealing to the majority, because the majority is wack, pop(ular) music has always been spoon fed to the masses, its sugar-coated rose-colored-glasses is only appealing to the weak minded individuals who cant understand music with substance
