guess only buyers can listen

just sign up as a buyer too... being a buyer is free and then you can listen to everyones beats, although u have to keep loggin out of your producer page then login as a buyer...

I did that too to get an idea of what the 'competition' sounds like. I guess all the best tracks are on the player that starts up when you load PMP - I heard some mediocre tracks when I did some digging into the producers who weren't featured.

Unless you set your page to PRIVATE. Then the buyer has to have a password from the producer in order to listen.

anyone got any feedback from a track they dropped in a track dump to an A&R??

Umm he hit me up like 2 or 3 weeks after i submitted....
Ive only got 1 subscriber anyway, i got hit up by that Sqad Up a&r too, and he didnt subscribe to my page. I dont think that matters too much.

you know what. I listened to that beat showcase on imeem.
and I heard 2 really good BEATS in there.
but the productions are mediocre.
that really seperates a good beat from a great instrumental.
or in other words: a good beat from a placement.

sound design makes the world go round. :D

I think I have an idea. you got PM.

Yeah. Conrad hit me up and said he was taking one of my joints to Yung Joc for consideration for his first single off the upcoming album. Lil bit later he said they liked the joint, but didn't LOVE it. But I got hot ish, and to keep em coming.

And apparently it was feedback from the A&R's that got me bumped up to the Featured Producers list.

they have genres like electronica, pop, rock etc.

anyone heard this beat that was on the front page...it was a horn sample but some parts were reversed...this joint was crazy.

@ HITZ...holla at GIK acoustics...they can get you started with 4 bass traps for about $300 give or take incl. shipping. they are high quality and well tested, you can call and talk to the guy that runs the company. very important step.

How difficult is it to be able to participate in the track dump? That would be the main reason for me signing up. This is what it says on the site regarding this:

From the featured music listings, to the featured producers, to developing an individual subscriber base, if you can generate heat the PMP is the resource for you. For producers that are on the next level you might want to utilize the "Track Dump" which is designed to give the best of the best the opportunity to participate in active, high profile projects from the majors as well as top indie labels.

**

Can anyone give me some more in depth information about being able to participate in the Track Dump? Is this saying that only certain PMP members are allowed to participate in it?
