That's crazy anyway. Export them joints to .wav. Keep rockin' in LIVE 7.
What programs does do that? The program files are developed by the company that made the software, so if your program comes out first... how / why would you make it compatible with everything that somebody else is doing.
Bogus response.
Drum Racks kick azz, Warp kicks azz, Session clips kick azz, Arrangement view.... best sequencer hands down.

If I find any easy way to put out quality product I'm using it.

Nah but i gotta question, About How long did it take for you to learn the ropes to Live?, cause i've heard great things about it, but i look at the program and it just looks like a big mess to me lol. the interface is just crazy

Mattman04 said:Cubase crowd will probably say they get by fine without a render to tracks feature, but once you get used to hitting the magic presto button, you will hate having to solo tracks out again.
Mattman04 said:You know some programs still don't do that.
It's not really a big deal in most cases, but having the magic "render to tracks" button in your DAW is nice for sure.
Actually I don't think Cubase can do that....How about PT?
It's a nice feature, and since I use many vsti that aren't found in studios it would be pointless to be able to open a project of mine in another studio.
For instance I use Shortcircuit in basically every project for all my vsti sampling duties.
How many studios have that?
In my situation sending wave files is the way to go.
I know the Reason, and Cubase crowd will probably say they get by fine without a render to tracks feature, but once you get used to hitting the magic presto button, you will hate having to solo tracks out again.

1005 said:AFAIK Cubase & Nuendo have been able to render vst tracks into wav for couple years now.
Mattman04 said:Ok, since Cubase 4?
Maybe the Cube was one of the last to integrate this feature.
Ableton added it in 6 right? I think Fl added it around 5, so there is a trend in the last few years to integrate this feature.
So can we safely say all of the big apps besides Reason have this featue now?

marcus82 said:i mean i could hammer a nail with rock, but if someone passes me a hammer you won't see me defending the rock's ability to drive a nail...tools are made to make life easier, which is why i also don't understand Red's comment that FL is "too easy, i like a challenge". seems kind of retarded if you ask me. i guess the software hardware turfwar nonsense is still alive and well. i think these dudes get paid to bash software. imagine what would happen to Akai if there was a suitable alternative to the mpc. why do you think the MPD falls short in so many areas compared to the mpc's functionality...they don't want people going out out and buying a $300 usb/firewire device instead of dropping a grand or two on a traditional mpc...the company would fold. how's that for a hiphop matrix
that's my rant
1005 said:hm, i have to check but i think even cubase sx 2 had the normal "export to audio" function. i know sonars and logic's renders are faster, but in the end it's the same thing.
reason shouldn't be even in this discussion cos it can't be used for mixing.
