Don't bust on me, but I like the song they are playing in the demo video for Neptune.

The vocals remind me of some Anthony Hamilton ish.

ima mostly use neptune for mangling vocal samples. plus i'm sure some very interesting combinators will be made utilising it.

that actually is a good idea. I love that its a vocal style synth I was kinda disappointed at first when I heard about it.

it really is aimed at that audience. Especially if you make hip hop with a lot of samples you will love this update

hm..judging from all the hints...heres a shot in the dark. but id say they dropped recycle as a standalone and incorporated it into R5.

and they must have either also upgraded nnxt or redrum.......one or the other.......hence all the "king kong"......"get rid a ur mpc" comments.

and they must have either also upgraded nnxt or redrum.......one or the other.......hence all the "king kong"......"get rid a ur mpc" comments.

well.. slicing samples up external using recycle does not really bother me, because I like big interfaces when slicing, if reason incorporates that feature, then it will be a small slicing screen...

what they need to do is update recycle, and make it functional with your midi controller... instead of having to press the keyboard and mouse to playback your sample

Yo Mars there's a thread around here where a dude is using his MPD32 with Recycle so you use it with you controller and he was hitting the pads playing each slice. I think Slicing would come before midi out.
