if you have a 1.6ghz pc or something as or more powerfull, with 1giga ram and a good HD, i know that it's possible to have 2 monitors attached to the CPU with a special graphic card (they did that at my school)... This way, you can run multiple programs and not be limited with all the annoying windows you can't see .... just an idea on multimonitoring :)

yeah, via a dual head graphics card or 2 graphics cards in the PC.

I got 2 TFT's cos I got the 2 PC's and wanna use them at the same time... one for audio, the other for everything else...

oh, and what have i done to this thread... added about 2 pages of talk to it :]

gonna rate it now... max stars i think :P

what do you need the Ultra-DI for exactly ?
excuse my ignorance...
as for the monitors, they look nice but aren't they a bit pricey ?
i was checking out the Yorville YSM1p Studio monitor earlier and i think they cost less and have comparative performances...
unless you really want the adjustable tweeter position that i don't think is a must :)

hehe, more!

like the pc, glad to see you got the midi keyboard too - that wasnt from cash convertors was it?

i need the DI4000 to convert the unbalanced RCA outputs of my kit to TRS/XLR for monitors (SP8B's) make sense now ?

funkmaster: aint got any more pix... and yeah, the keyboard was from CC. They got it in, phoned me and I bought it. never saw the shop floor :P

when I have the money to get em :| Need to get a rack as well and some PDU units... as well as the cables... damn expensive this audio lark aint it.

when ya comin over next ? Bring ur SU700.

Oh, and I need to get me a mixing deck :|

yeah, ill bring the su700 for sure! better leave it a few weeks till i learn to use it tho :p

i have pmed you with a mixer i would love to buy but cant afford (even tho it is a mega bargain!)

damn, that s a damn good price on those :] I may take them up on those offers actually, that or a Mackie or a A&H...

Bring the Su700 over anyways, we'll learn how to use it :]

lemme know

yeah, im up for that - i really wanna buy one of those mixers!!!

when's good for you?

not too sure about this weekend - next one sounds cool to me tho - its the record fair too

i may be busy on that weekend, depends on whether my free tickets to see Timo Maas turn up or not... dunno, we'll see :P

i would go for something other than the HMV ones, as they are sorta mass produced and mainly are directed towards storing records, not travelling with them. You will notice the blue one, that is an Italian Pro case (you can find them on htfr) and is pretty damn solid :]
