TFT Monitor to come, the old CRT is looking a bit old skool now. Takes up to much space to, got no space for my keyboard. Its looking a bit bare to im not putting all my vinyl on those shelfs till im convinced it can hold whats already there which isn't much. As of yet im not convinced! Im sure i'll wake up one morning without a wall!

its not much but will be getting some new toys soon. new mixer i might get is the Denon dn-s300 or the vestax PMC 3. and want some Techs and the PIONEER EFX-500. is there anything i should get???

dump the techs and get stantons ST-150's im planning on getting some STanton STR8-150's/ST-150's or some vestax (after i buy serato of course :D)

you'll have soooooo much fun with the EFX-500!! Personally I'd rather stick with Techs - I've used some STR8-150's but I really don't get on with em - I don't like the feeling when scratching and the tech's inspire so much more confidence (having said that I'm so used to my tech's that this could lead to me preferring them over the Stantons).

You thought about trigger finger or something like that??

the only thing i dont like about the Techs is that they dont have the Stop an Start controls. i really like to use them. and yes i really wanna get my hands on the EFX-500 BUT i first have to get a mixer that i can plug it up to. im thinking of the Denon DN-S300 or the Vestax PMC 3... and about the drumpad.. what would i use it for unless i make beats other then that i dont need it for DJing, DO I?? cuz i never really looked into it. would i take a drumpad to a party????

I DJ at parties and clubs and I take my pads with me - not only do I use it for drumming (adding extra hits to the track that's playing) but also dropping samples and such into my mix as signatures for people to remember me by. Ya know like record a sample of your DJ name that you've scratched, being said by a hot voiced girl etc. it's a great addition to your mix and people will eventually pick up on it so when u play out somewhere else they'll know it's you cos u have signatures.

then there's programming your own drum patterns and scratching to em, remixing, even using it as an effects unit etc. it's a great addition to your Dj setup - really brings your DJ rig to a whole new level.

you might not see a use for it now but it won't be long until you will be a complete gear junkie like a few of us.

Confess people - how long did the 'I'm just gonna buy 2 TT's and a mixer and I'll be complete' lasted for until u get a point where one midi controller is not enough hahaha
