Sweet! Is that a vestax to the left? Do you run the output of one of the mixers into a channel on the other?
 
Yeap!!! it's a vestax 05pro2. I actually don't have it all hooked up that much, because I am takeing my ecler and 2 cdj800's to a gig on fri and sat's so it's a pain to always bring home and hook up, and don't find much time to practice, and when I want to I can just practice on my two turntables. I have hooked my vestax up into my 3rd ch of my ecler though. I am sure you can see that, this isn't hooked up, I just put them in place for pictures.:D

LoL.. Ain't that bad! You should see my friends setup with the fake 1200's (cititronic or whatever) and the gemini mixer from outer space :p

man i think i had a busted ass radio shack mixer with some huge ass nobs and i ended up breaking my new needled tha same week i bought them...i guess you gotta start some place though
 
lol, i got 2 cdxs, tha pio 707, a jbl speaker, and tha efx 500, and tha technics headphones, but TRUST me, this is DEF not my first set up, lol, i had a walkman and an axis 8 when i first started out, wired 2 an american dj 2 channel mixer with no xlr outputs, and 2 small ass speakers i got from my dads old record player, so i guess you can say ive come a long way since 5th grade, lol (im now in 11th grade).

i was 13 when i started so yeah i can feel you its a trip to look back were we all started...
 
Yea, I had the Numark 1460 or what ever they where with like shure 35c's and a 3ch behringer. It hummed all the time.

Now I have Vestax 05 pro2,ecler 30 smac, 2 tech 1210 M5G's, 2 JBL Jrx115's, QSC1450, Tech rpdh1200 Headphones, 5 cases, 2 cdj 800 mk1, and now 1 cdj 800 mk2. Dell Inspiron 8600 with Eko DJ card, running Trakter or AutomixMp3. Don't use the laptop much anymore now that I have it all on CD.


Yea I have came a long ways from what I started out with. After getting my initial setup, it was one table at a time, then the shure M44-7's, a mixer here then a new one, then cdj's, headphones, then a case here and there.

I know I definatly didn't get it all at once. I like how some people come on here and want it all right away, and don't want to wait, to get good stuff. I say get a good table, and hook something like a walkman up to get you by untill you can get another good table.

I was running a Numark 1460 with My Tech for about a year. with the behinger mixer. Ran that to a aiwa reciever with 2 klh speakers. I also at first had the old computer hooked up to the 15 crt LOL. This was for my brothers parties, so I had all my music.

It deffinatly is funny looking back at old setups.

i am thinking about getting some more turntables i do like the straight arm vestex but i'v heard good things about the new gemini
 
Haven't heard much about them. I actually don't really use my turntables at all anymore. Where I DJ, I only have enough room for my CDJ's and also don't feel like carring all that equipment. I deffinatly like my CDJ's, I still love vinyl, but man it is really nice being able to have a book full of cd's and nice and easy to keep them sorted, over Crates of vinyl and hell to try and keep them sorted, plus heavy turntables. I miss parties at my brothers where I had ton's of room, and could keep my tables there LOL, but also didn't get paid for those. Maybe the ocasional tip's or sometimes T##s lol.
 
yeah luggin that **** around is a ***** my back is all ****ed up, **** i whant some cdj 1000's. the pioneers maybe the techs, i do like those techs

how was that tt200? i'm in search for a good table for sampling older vinyal
 
swweeeetttttt! i just got my parents old computer(which is still quite "new"). u know imma put asoundcard in dat bytch n make sum DEMOS, yeaahhhh. anyways, lovin tha setup.
 
For sampling purposes teh TT200 will do you way more than fine !! Because I learnt to scratch on them you will just be using it to record. However I heard that S curve tonearms have better sound quality so make sure u get the S curve tonearms for them (they are interchangable).
