This same as technology though to there was record players then evolved to a A-trak then evolved to a cassette then to Cd's Now you touch a screen and the same thing that all those other devices did it does we all evolved from something or somone just like hip-hop evolved from another genre

because IN REALITY, A PERSON'S OPINION IS ONLY WORTH AS MUCH AS WHAT'S IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNT.

MEANING: it's less about your / my "music" and it's more about the EARNING POTENTIAL that your or my music has...THAT is what "validates" opinions nowadays.

which basically makes music a never-ending continuum of TRENDS...and the "forerunners" of those trends being the ones that stand to gain the most profit from each; respectively.

recognizable is just that... think punk, hip hop, grunge, metal all came from certain elements combining that were always there just used differently, thus making a sub-genre. They existed long before there was money to gain and all had a community of people all bitting from one another(your words not mine)... jazz, soul, funk, rock-fusion... bitting...

yes and no.

it's important to focus on money because money is what's making music what it is today...NOT "creativity"

i do in fact enjoy music...just not the music that i'm "supposed" to enjoy...

music is "designed" to be hits...you don't see any "psychological" factors going on today in music?

you don't think the "formula" has anything to do w/ the manipulation of the collective consciousness of listeners?

my point is this...

lets start looking at "hit" music from a psychoanalytic perspective.
