I couldn't agree more, but I'm just saying that in hip hop particularly, especially today, derivation to some extent is prevalent. Because hip hop is a genre of influence, I think it's an overly romantic idea to suggest that we can constantly be innovating and growing as the thread insists. I'm sure that hip hop and rap will change over time, as it already has, but like music in general there is a sort of confinement as to where we can go with it.

But to me, the beauty of "Rap" is that you can take any rhythmic sound and write poetry to it. In my opinion rap is the closest genre to "limitless" in the sense that it's basically rhythmic free verse

The production and arrangement are pretty solid, but your melodies are a bit toy for me.
Its bit like 'easy listening' hip hop, if that makes any sense.

I agree, I mean I've been on here since forever (I just created a new Username) but I don't get on here as much because I feel like it's more "old school" focused then really whats going on now. All I see on here is dudes talking down about the current wave of music. But it would be cool to see more producers from here "modernize" there music and make it on the Billboard charts.
