im far too lazy to go back and change them tonight, it's not like a free download is even a bad thing, this thing is gonna end up bein a mostly downloaded thing, so cool your jets.

if i get time tomorrow, i may change the mp3, if you have a prolem with it, take your tracks out of the running

i'm the middleman, i only did what i was told to do.

IT'S ONLY GOING TO BE DOWNLOADED BY THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE CD!!!!

The whole idea is to PURCHASE THE ALBUM!!

This isn't a song exchange. If people wanted to give it away free they would have done so.

I agree about removing the option to download now during submissions . . . cause then it defeats this below quoting Kontak


Also, to ensure that the brand that we are trying to promote collectively as a unit doesnt get misconstrude or misrepresented, the artwork and title of mixtape should not be altered at all. Meaning, if the title of the mixtape is Future Producers Presents.. "The Future is Now!" Volume 1 then thats what it needs to be promoted as on EVERYONE's mixtape. Whats the point of everyone submitting their tracks for this , just for Joe Schmoe to rename it as "DJ Joe Schmoe's Greatest Hits, The Most "Unknown" unknown!!"

Why is this so hard people?? I feel like i'm back in school...We're about to get out of class, and that ONE DAMN KID keeps asking questions about OBVIOUS SH*T, making the class go longer.

WHAT'S SO HARD ABOUT THAT?


ONCE THE FINAL TRACK LISTING IS CONFIRMED, then the FINAL CONTRIBUTORS are able to download it, and distribute it as they see fit.

The people who make the final track list probably aren't gonna want to GIVE away their hard work, and the hard work of others that made it. ESPECIALLY when there's a potential dollar to be made. So i'm really not worried about it being posted on SC to be given away.


TAKE THE SONGS OFF DOWNLOAD NOW! Cracka-Jack, if you're too lazy to PERFORM THE JOB THAT YOU VOLUNTEERED FOR, you can be relieved of your reponsibilities.

"I'm too lazy to..." if you told your job that, your ass would be fired.



People, get it together, damn. It's really not that hard. Stop asking questions and follow the directions. This is NOT rocket science.

Keep those submissions coming! There are a few names I have yet to hear from.... Proper-T? WinTIP? and where the hell has White Owl Bundy been? If anyone knows, tell him about this.


And to reiterate what Troup said..... this mixtape is downloadable ONLY to those who actually make it on to the tape!! For anyone else who wants a copy you will have to get it from one of the contributors. Each contributor has the option to distribute their respective copies however they see fit.

I don't have any problems with accidents happening. But SOME people take their music seriously, and aren't interested in just having it available for download to the world.

And then for the person who VOLUNTEERED to do the uploading to say "i'm too lazy to protect your hard work"?? That's just insane and intolerable.


People...read the guidlines. There are no judges, there are no none of that. The voting rules are the same as the rules in a battle. Over 50 posts, then you can vote.

I have a very short patience span, and people doing dumb sh*t pisses me off. Just making stuff harder than it has to be, because they refuse to read and comprehend.
 
the fact is, im putting in 14 hours a day at school, I have pneumonia, and I've run into some family troubles. It's not as much that I'm lazy, as much as I just don't have time...

Yes, i'm very protective of my music, because i'm very protective of my music career and aspirations. And one wrong bootleg can kill a project before it begins. Those of us with actual projects that matter understand that, and take threats of bootlegging VERY seriously.

You don't have time to change it, but you DID have time to post the fact that you are too lazy to change it? C'mon now.

I'm sorry, but laziness doesn't make progress. If you're having all those issues then relinquish your position and let someone who's more available handle it.

For the good of the project.

By the way, if you submitted a track that either A)Has accapellas from a mainstream artist, or B)used someone else's beat(mainstream), then it will be removed.

arright arright, im sorry that i put your music career in danger, having a prject myself, i understand what you're saying. Unfortunatly, my computer isn't what you would call, "up to snuff" and i had no more bandwidth left with which to upload the tracks.

Again, I apologize. I'm sorry that I made a mistake.

If you want the reigns, I'll gladly hand them to you, if not, just let it slide. Kontak is straight with all the management, and he has contacted me advising my error. In the end, I want to see this get off the ground, because I myself would like to submit a track into the running. i'm not trying to undermine your hard work.

^^^^^^^Thats straight up DISRESPECTFUL! This project is not affiliated with FOHH, so why would you drop a link to FOHH in this thread? You all had more than enough opportunity to market and promote, this is not one of those moments. If you want in on this project, submit your tracks like everyone else, if not, leave the confusion out of this thread!

I think he dropped it in there cuz people have made a number of reference to it throughout the thread. Alot of people contributing to this one weren't around when FOHH came out.

Or at least i'm giving stkee the benefit of the doubt! :)
 
bobsmitt, I havent forgotten about you. You had the inside connects on getting the website up, let us know what the deal is with this. From the last post you made, I think you were waiting for the title of the project, "The Future is Now" is what we are running with.

Also, H&R, Im not sure who designs you alls mixtape covers, but he is fire. Let him know that we need covers.

DeeBlaze is nice with his graphics too. Dee, let us know whats up if you come up with any ideas.

Saying what you said, along with dropping a link would have been cool, but just coming out of the blue and dropping a link seems suspect.
