I am just sorting out the vocals out for my track now should be done in a couple of weeks or so but we got til april 1st anyway!
 
Wait till after they clear the account before u upload anything with samples....because if they are clearing the account and u have uploaded tracks wit samples then they are definately gon hear em.....but if u wait they won't check 4 em

I thought about that too. The fact of the matter is, for some reason, they are checking up on this site. Lets try that and see what happens. There are about 7 entries in the gmail inbox, I dont have net access at home(moving soon), so I need someone to help load the songs up to the SC page.

I nominate "bobsmitt". He's new but enthused and has sent some great ideas to the gmail inbox. Lemme know what you all think.

I say we wait until atleast a week before the deadline. If we are coming up short on submissions, then we can raise the limit.
 
thanks kontak for the nomination, i'm soooo thrilled for this project and believe there is a lot of talent and they deserve to get mainstream attention and the business model of this could work.
 
ive got most of the tracks uploaded, and having to download them first, im feelin the tracks, good submissions so far. id really like to hook up with a producer on this, so my sh*t can sound more professional.

CHANGE THAT NOW!!!!!! ARE YOU INSANE?!?!?!?!?!?


And people...a Jay-Z remix does NOT count. Neither does you rapping over Kanye's beats.

And I hear some good quality stuff on here. QUALITY COUNTS!!! If your tracks don't sound as good as all the rest, then you won't make it. You can be saying some hot sh*t, but if your track is sandwiched in between 2 tracks that have a nice mix on em, then your track is gonna get ignored. Plus you'll be brining down the overall quality of the project.
