Hey guys, leased this beat, let me know what you think of the finished song. I didn't mix or master the final product, the artist just layed his vocals down and put it out.

The opening sounds awesome, really cool atmospheric effect on the pianos. His vocals could have been better recorded, it sounds like it should either be more present, or more washed out. As far as the beat, it sounds really good. Maybe have the drums a little higher in the mix - just slightly so. Great job though!

Beat is super chill. The lyrics aren't terrible, just not something I'd listen to. It's hard to judge the mix because its on youtube but it sounds decent. Nice work man keep it up.

Thanks for the kind words. I definitely agree on the mastering/vocal critique. Your Gucci Mane remix is really sick. Can practically FEEL the drugs. Real nice job.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, my mix of just the instrumental is much better. I believe he just turned down the volume to lay his vocals down. Not the proper way of mixing! Do you have anything you wanted some feedback on?

the vocals are too loud in my opinion but you said he did the final mixing/mastering.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked out "Never Heal Myself" and I like it, but think the mixing could be better. Everything sounded lo-fi, but not in a good way.

Yeah, in my original mix the kick and snare do pop out a little bit more. I believe the artist just turned the track down and layed his vocals down, and didn't mix it or anything afterwards. Anyway, that NES remake is really nice, great job. The main synths do get a little overbearing at times, but overall, nice job.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked out your "Oldskool Party" track on Soundclick, I really like it. Definitely has that Dr. Dre mid-90s vibe.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually produced the instrumental, I didn't rap. Someone leased it. I checked out your "Rocketships" track, it's good. A little too much limiter, but overall a catchy melody.

You def know good song structure, the ONLY thing I notice is the drums are a little low. If that's what you are going for, try using an auto filter so that presence is still there, but It can be low and punchy. Super chill got me bobbin my head, Respect man!
