wow, is it true that the hook is the record and it's up to the artist not to mess up the rest of it till that hot hook comes back in? YES? NO?

If your an entertainer in any form...What more do you need...People dont buy Dave Chappelles DVD's or go watch him perform, because he a humanitarian....get my drift?

And how could a person with talent have a song out thats not good? If thats the case what was judged to make the assumption that he has talent?

I was just saying that alot of things about music can go eitherway but some things are a plain YES or NO... sorry, my humors off today. I know that i enjoy underground stuff way more than radio music. Joe Buddens has more freedom then drake will. I know that Rick Ross won the battle of credibility/accountability over productivity/profitability, nevermind the beef with him and 50. I'm scared to turn on my radio in fear of being disappointed again by the lack on bleeped out curses and belivable senarios.

Talent doesn't mean product.

Example. Juice, the fressstyle artist, the one who beat Em. he is one of the most talent freestyle artist i've ever seen. But he can write a hot song to save his live. I never heard one good song from him. but he can flow better than everyone else.

Not confused at all....its both actually because if there wasn't anyone to entertain, then there wouldn't be a record bussiness. They're like night and day.

By mainstream commercial standards you dont have to have talent to entertain....So i guess in a sense your absaloutly right.

See, that's why I still love hip hop and even bother going back and forth based on the way i felt as soon as I pressed play. Don't you guys get it yet? That feeling doesn't exists on air it's on satellite/mixtapes and blog spots, in the cut just like it did when it started.

ok first off.. didn't i read a thread on here that said musicplacements is a scam!?!? i mean it's only $30 but i thought the reason they kept messaging was regular scamming procedures lol! but on the real though. i feel quite uninformed. and on top of that i came across a twitter that said that a&rs will most likely be "obsolete" in the next couple years and i'm pretty sure it will be true. and also, i'm not appreciating the fact that our music is being "filtered". It's like a water filter... Yes, it does get rid of unwanted material, but it also takes away the goods as well. Furthermore, the decline in sales in sales is mostly blamed on downloads.. but IMO it shouldn't be, it's because the industry is too picky and needs to stop looking for ringtones!
