people w/ talent need to start taking matters into their own hands more and quit thinking that the "execution" part is going to magically "work itself out"...or the famous "somebody else will take care of that" philosophy...

too many people got "gifts" w/ no plans...

I feel you, but at a time the music industries foundation was built around talent....So maybe its just me but talent means everything.
 
I learned that FP will always be FP and people will either grow into there own or critisize you while they watch from the sidelines.

I learned that mods should be more comfortable with closing down threads. Why apoint new people if they adopt old ways? I was even talk'n junk in another thread to the girlyman Rome had to check and it's still there.


Guys, go get involved in your own well being. Make it a point to atleast finish what you start so you can avoid being stuck in a cycle of personal failure like that uncle we all got but still love cause he's atleast cool...lol

I promise you this, when you get it done and people see that they'll respect you whether by words or atleast staying out your way.

People in the industry, meaning people who have careers in the industry do not care about talent. Labels do not develop artist, they haven't nearly a decade. I'm talking about Majors and Indies. People don't buy talent, when did you buy talent. when did anybody buy talent? people buy a product, and in the RECORD business, the product is RECORDS. why is it in the record business people get so excited over talent with no results. just because you can sing doesn't mean sht, just because you can freestyle doesn't mean sht. Can you make a song? or can you sell the song?

If you don't understand what I'm saying. Stop watching TV, stop watching American Idol and MTV!

People who just have talent and nothing else to offer. With no good songs need to stay where they are at, open mic hell.

be able to finish what you start BY YOURSELF...

don't be overly dependent on other people when it comes to getting YOUR projects done...

if you need them, then you are on THEIR TIME / SCHEDULE...and your deadlines will suffer...
