Thanks for the info, Flame Top!
But the answers have led me to more questions!!!
How is the time stretch controlled? Is it limited to inputting a new overall length for the track (ie, shorter time to speed up 1 of the samples), or can you play both tracks and increase/ decrease the speed of 1 of the tracks to match the other by ear. The first method would surely mean alot of maths (beats per minute) or trial and error, or have i missed something??
Does the USB card allow for interfacing with a MAC as well as PC, and do you know whether the the separate tracks are preserved if the project is copied before mastering. If so, are they appe WAV file format?? Also, does this mean I could use the cd burner in my MAC (save me 50 quid!!)
Lastly, forgot to ask this in my first post, but can the pitch of a track be altered independently of the speed, ie, if I record a guitar track but realise its slightly out of key, etc, can this be adjusted??
Thanks again for any info, its either
an aw16g or 1266, for the money , it looks like the 1266 ....
