Your opinion of Nitty

So basically, Nitti is the Scott Storch of the south? lololollllllllllllllllllll
 
nitty aint nothing but a lil jon knock-off, but as long as everybody is mooching off the south he's going to keep getting money

EXACTLY! das why hip hop is where its at,,,,,not sayin its dyin, not tryin to bring up that arguement.....but everyone does seem to like some bs music,,,,the excuse is, "u can dance to it"....but how many of those artist sell albums? there are certain artist (i.e. 50 cent, lil john) that can sell albums and make club hits,,,,,other artist (i.e. young dro, jibbs) with weaker beats also have club hits, but no album sells
 
I have to disagree. Album sells are not really reflecting as much as they use to. With downloads and all alot has changed. Jibbs still nearly went gold his firts week.
Kingdom Come to me was horrible and it still went double Plat without Jay being amazing.

BUt on Nitti and Lil Jon: Nitty is nowhere near a clone of lil Jon. Nitti's tracks do not have a much energy as lil John and Lil Jon does not have as much bounce as nitti
 
I wouldn't be suprised if Nitti is a better piano/keyboard player than 90% of the people on this site. You got to have talent to get in the game regardless. I bet he's ALOT better than we are led to believe.
 
Mac said it best - forgot to mention his other work. Stop hatin' and learn from what dude accomplished. If it was so WACK, no one would buy or listen.

(But for the record, the Going Down beat is simple - not exactly my style either but hey ... to each his own).
 
Okay I've been looking around here for a few weeks and I've come to a few conclusions.

1. Timbaland = God
2. Nitti = Satan

Disclaimer: I DJ and am not a producer.

Everyone pretty much agrees that Nitti's beats are simple as making cereal. Bowl -> Cereal -> milk. But why does it seem that a lot of posters on here hate how simple it is. More isn't always better in some cases. Nitti seems to have the market on lock as far as selling simple beats go. It just seems to be a lot of hate going around here for something that just isn't your cup of tea.
 
See....some of yalls problem is that you think something should be "complicated". Screw that. If it sounds tight...run wit it. I don't care how many synths and sounds you put in it.

look at the effort to success ratio he's had... lol he's gotta be the best in the game...we have yet to hear the best from nitti..he's the new Dre..cant wait for his solo album.

yall only kno nittis singles his album cut for young jeezy was crazy he did that song Talk to Em' wit that hot ass samples he dont only do that stupid music
 
somebody sold that Talk To Em beat to nitty and he placed it with jeezy..how do i know that? trust me..i just know.

I agree with everyone above..it's sucks to be a real hip hop producer and guys like this keep gettin put on with crappy music...oh and don't let me forget Mr.Colli Park...he blows too
 
Mr. ColliPark isn't that bad. He makes club stuff too, but he does have some substance. He produced Jamie Foxx's "Warm Bed" on Unpredictable and it's cool. Also, the "DJ Play A Love Song" remix by him is hot.
 
how dumb are u clowns?? sometimes simplicity is the key to a hit....he may not have intricate hooks but at the end of the day he makes the clubgo-ers go crazy....can u? definatly not!!!! jd hookeed him up? u gona talk shi-t about him too? he knows what hes doing and nitti makes hits whether u like it or not....no wonder yall are broke....LOL

LoL wanna play big bank takes little bank? I mean you callin everybody broke...I know what my pockets lookin like...just bc Nitty made a hit in a flawed market don't mean that he nice...I agree simple is sometimes better..but come on now, lets be real. If you had 60gz left in your budget would u go to Nitty rather than a Danja or a Polow...thought so chump
 
people with theyre picture all on theyre myspace should watch theyre mouth......and i never said id spend 60 on nitty instead of polow or danja? fuk that but that doesnt mean theres not a place for him in the game.....
 
How about Nitti did that "Stop Playing Games" track for 8Ball and MJG back in the day. That shows you his capabilities, but he's choosing to go the route that makes him the most cheese, and now he gets 50 G's a track. Can't hate on that.

nitty is the worst producer to ever get a string of major artist work.
