Ya gotta respect what he does...Cuz we all gotta admit that he's in a position that we would all love to be in...

Nitty is fire.. Wanna know why ? Cuz he can make one sound..and use it as a melody..and the melody will be so hot people wont care how complex it is..

man omg the hatin on this thread is rediculous...me personally i really be feelin nitti beats, cuz they his own style, and when a nitti beat come on, YOU KNOW its a nitti beat...anyway, if yall still doubtin his music, listen to Where They At by T.I., produced by Nitti....

I dont know why SOME people cant respect others opinions. Just because someone thinks someone is wack..doesnt make them a hater. It makes them a person with their own opinion. Everytime someone says something about what they dont like here comes people throwing the "hater" card. Im sorry but I dont know anyone that just love everything and anything.

He's in the biz and thats great. But what i've heard from him imo he hasnt done anything special. Maybe that'll change but I havent heard anything yet.

Nitty does his thing! He cant be stopped by the haters.

Man...

i mean music is music to me i like the fact that it just has that south sound to it plus like hip hop u got some that just put to much on it music is music and eveybody is different

Exactly. I just said something similar in another thread. Who cares what your sonic sources are?? A dope beat is a dope beat. And Nitty's sound does have a fan base, so on what grounds is dude a faulty producer?? Looks like he's gettin the job done to me. As always...too many layers upon layers of critique.

Its all depend on tastes, every beat doesnt have to have all these changeups and complexity. If its a simple lil dance song, he get the job done so he obviously doin somethin right. He aint the best but I've definitely heard worse.

I like some Nitti beats, I could care less for others, I love a few and a few are trash to me, but who isn't like that?

Some of you are idiots, plain and simple. I LOVE Timbaland's production but even he has made some tracks that I felt were trash, like anyone else. I like maybe 1 in every 4th track Storch makes, but do I think he's trash? No........

You don't have to like somebody to UNDERSTAND why somebody else does, that's why Nitti is makin' that dust and some of ya'll is stuck in ya basement makin' tracks only you and ya boy feel.......

Garbage is garbage. What's not garbage is when you gain respect bicoastally. Nitty aint loved up north like he is in the south, alot of people don't know who Premier is in the south. I came up in the old school where producers weren't after being a big name in a fake rap industry. The producers on "On The Outside Lookin In by" 8ball and MJG, who know they name, but the album is still sellin, well, gettin downloaded.
With me, it's not a beat that makes a song, or the rapper dislpayin lyrics over a beat. It's the total package. Why does rap pretty much suck now, because of Pro Tools. I have a love/hate relationship wtih PT. Nitty makes a track, T.I is eating at Gladace Knight's Chicken and Whaffles, T.I has an idea for a club song, Nitty pops up in his head, he gets in contact with Nitty, Nitty say I got 4,529 tracks that you can choose from;) , T.I likes a perticular track and asks him to send the session over, bread is broken, and T.I raps over an already formatted beat and it hits the club, the rest is history.

All anybody on here needs is a beat, any beat, with an L7 rapper on it, but make sure you have a catchy hook. You wanna tell your life story as a mass murderer robbin Columbians for keys and shyt:rolleyes: , don't rap over a Nitty beat. You wanna Lie about how many $300,000 cars that Diddy ain't even got, how you're L7 azz is pimpin hooeez, or how you about that money, throw a couple of lines in there about whatcha drankin and smokin on and ask for Nitty to come to your rescue.
It's like Algebra, multiply two negitives and what do you get, IT'S GOIN DOWN.

All it takes is to be hot one time, and you can charge whatever you want. Yeah it was either he had a masterplan to get to where he's at, or either luck. This is not me hatin, it's just real. A song is not just the beat a producer make, but the finished product with an artist on it. Lets say you got a beat with rapper on it. The rappers lyrics are wack but you got a synth line that he made a hook to. You sold him the beat for $500 plus. He plays it in the club and now Cam'ron asked the Dj about the rapper. Now, he signs a deal and the song is not only playin in the local club, but all over bicoastally. How much are "YOU" gonna charge this new artist who sign with Dipset wh just got a $300,000 sign bonus. He's feenin for one or you tracks and wants to make it a single. Surely not $500, not even $1000. Your in the "Big Leagues" now. You've been enter in the draft and picked all because of luck. You can have all the knowledge about the rap game, but it's gonna take some hustlin, luck, or both to make it to the big leagues. Nitty was lucky, point blank.

About Kanye, he takes other melodies and create a song out of it. To me, I would rather hear Nitty in the club, and Kanye at home or my office. weither he's sampling or not, he conducts those samples with perfection. I don't like "The Documentary" by Game, but, Kanye did his thing on dreams. I can chill with that playin while I'm talkin with my people bout bettering my business, not any of Nitty's beats.
SO??? And???

Two different Nitty's. Nitty did the 2Pac tracks and makes some genuinely good music, Nitti does a lot of club bangers and is the subject of a 15+ page thread on FP.

Yup!

I hate Its Goin Down, mainly because of the beat. The dance was gay, too. I disliked Nitti and all of his tick tock beats. Then, I heard Young Dro's Man In The Trunk. I still don't really care for Nitti's work, but he does have a few gems out there.

Well that dance didnt start there, they just did it in the video. It's been around for a while. My man Buddy did it in the "Lean wit it" video

Yeah. I was just saying the video put the dance on blast. If it wasn't for Joc, it'd probably still just be a local ATL thing.

You right, and Tom Cruise woulda never done that mess on BET

I hate to defend dude, but ... Nitti's simple beats are his strength, not his weakness. In real life, Nitti can play all kinds of instruments and is rediculously talented. I might have said the same thing a year ago, but now - I gotta say ... he is getting PAID for his simple style of production and the public is speaking with record sales. Nitti just did David Banner's stuff (several tracks), etc. Say what you want - that damn "Its Goin Down" is catchy as hell. Dont hate him because he figured out the formula of how to do more .....with LESS.

Basically. Don't 'hate' to defend em. You should cause it's only right.

Nitti's tracks are 'simple' BUT they appeal to a market, established his sound, do their job (get you up and dance, get the ladies movin :) ).

Some producer's beats make you think, some make you think and dance. Some you just shut up and listen in awe.

The problem comes when people force all brands of Hip-Hop to come under one brand to be considered right.

Either boom-bap 100% or nothing but synths.

The real problem is when new guys have to sound like Nitti just to get a check, AND they have to take out what makes their beats unique FOR THE SAKE OF IT.
