I have been wondering this for a while and why do people use the older versions of FL Studio when you get free updates?

JimbaFrosty said:honestly if i HAD TO id rather use FL 4 or 5. they where solid and for soem reason their midi recording was great (though they STILL dont have quantize while recording :S) if ur using vsts and other stuff then WHY would u upgrade and get a whole wack of crap u dont need taking up more cpu and ram? makes no sence to me.
more then likely once reason 4 is out i dont totaly see myself upgrading anymore.
Oh, man. Me neither. That damn "FIT" option. it's still there just not as digits, but as a knob.Fam Nice said:... FL 4's "fit" sample is a good example. Most people who use it love to be able to stretch just by using the "fit" option (don't know why but they do).
