Funny how you diss the Majors but yet your music sounds just like them, you can't make it without them with that kind of music, the industry is already flooded with that wanna be T-Pain autotune shyt.

It's amazing how someone can make 'major' sounding music (whatever that maybe) without the majors getting involved. And allow me to set the record straight, I have no problem with major record labels, my gripe is with these poo-putt ass kissers who have no backbone whatsoever. Like I said...it's time for niggas to grow a pair.

And that song is Auto Tune free. It's called talent.

Bold face lie.

Regardless, it still sounds like T-Pain and the industry already has hundreds if not thousands of them.

...We're really sad that Tony G "Shytted" on us :-(

There is a such thing as being blackballed. it happens all the time. but just because you got blackballed doesn't mean you can't get your way in. Look at 50, he was blackballed. but someone took a chance on him and it paid off.

Pmp is what it is, a business. If they filtered out the BS then they will not make any money. most wanna be producers are that, wanna be producers. I think there are ways pmp can improve and still be an opportunity source for upcoming producers, but they need to pay me for that info. I'm not saying pmp is a scam, because it's not. It may not be the best path for every producer, infact I don't think it's the best path for many producers. But for producers who are unable to build relationship in person, it is a good stepping stone

^^^All I'm saying is nobody really likes nobody in this biz. Jay didn't want Kanye on Rocafella, put forth effort to keep him off...now you see Jay and Kanye with no sign of the guys Jay was cosigning and trying to push. That's the so called "power" these guys have. A freit train don't stop cause an ant's on the track screaming threats.

You walk on eggshells and you will get walked over in this biz. You make your moves, you gonna piss someone off in the process. So f**k everybody else and their feelings, focus on accomplishing your goals and don't let nobody tell you they can stop you cause they can't.

That's funny that you brought Kanye in. Not many people know about Ye's come up, why The Roc sign him when Jay didn't want him.

After the deal with Capitol fell thru Kanye vowed to quit producing, that he is only going to be an artist. Now keep in mind Ye was the Roc's foundation (well him and Just Blaze) on the production. Now if Ye stops producing it will really effect The Roc. Now this scared Dame, Biggs, and Jay. so they decided they are going to sign him just to make him happy and to have him get back to work on the mpc. Kanye even wanted the to give him his chain in his hometown, Chicago.

Simply Kanye was never black balled, him and Jay may not have seen eye-to-eye. Kanye was a huge asset to Roc, a large enough asset to make the roc sign him as an artist. And Kanye used that to catapult himself.

just because you piss someone off doesn't mean your going to get blackballed. and just because you don't get along with one person it doesn't mean you will get blackballed. and pissing off someone from a vanity label, won't really hurt you that much. but piss of Barry Weiss, Doug Morris, Edgar Bronfman, Lyor Cohen, or any of the real top dogs in this industry, then you might be in a little trouble. Or if you piss off enough people in middle management.

But it come to this: If you keep making people rich, you'll never be blackballed. But if you cost people money and you piss them off, then you'll fade away

I've seen ppl get blackballed, but whoever is doing the blackballing can only do it to a certain degree. Whoever is in their immediate circle will usually back them up. People higher up don't care about your feelings. If they can make money off both parties, they will.

Yeah, no secret. TonyG is bigging up the site he's affiliated with but he says why he affiliated with them as opposed to your site or others.

Would you mind filling everyone in on your filtering process? I know you filter who you put on the featured list, but what about track dumps? Do you filter those? Do you push them at all or is it just a mass blast?

Hell, while we're at it, how many major placements have you gotten your customers?

Thanks

PS. Not exactly sure what you mean by the last sentence. I thought you wanted producers to use PMP to help brand themselves.

So y'all know that G-Unit A&R TonyG has recently started doin some live streams. I've been wanting to catch one of his streams and was able to see about 10 mins of one last night before I had to do some international meeting thing. When I came in, he was talking about sites like PMP and saying how he doesn't really **** with them cuz he doesn't have time to go thru unfiltered material. He says he already has a network of ppl who filter the crap out and bring him the best beats. Even then, he has thousands of beats to go thru. Why would he bother going thru a PMP track dump that's not even filtered? He doesn't have time for that.

Do you have a link to this? I find it hard to believe that an A&R would say they have a issue when their label (Dre Mckenzie, Sha money, etc..) utilize the PMP and you have producers on this board like Team Green crediting the PMP for helping them with their G-Unit related work. If so dude needs to stop because to have a good amount (quite a good bit actually) of established producers in the business on one site like the PMP and say you dont use it only makes him look foolish.

He's referring to the website the Tony dude is suppose to be affiliated with not the producers.
