By a landslide.
that's good info...
so then is it safe to say that 610 > 003?
By a landslide.
I understand how to properly prove or disprove theories
WOW...
so you didn't ban FuGiTiVe?!?!

Tell me how many bits are being lost etc etc, explain it to me
By the way guys. I've only noticed a huge difference one time with this whole argument. The other times I've heard a difference it was really, really insignificant. It's not something I constantly hear so it doesn't bother me all the time. But it's the little things that take audio to the next level.
And I don't think everyone heard me clearly that I was using the mixer in both cases. Although when I bypass the mixer I like the sound much better as well.
It's stupid to argue though. I mean I can start quoting Michael Brauer about how no software can correctly mix over 32 tracks as well as analog consoles because of the bottlenecking that occurs at the mix engine. But there is no since in debating things like this. Some people hear things that aren't there. Some people convince themselves of a fact. Some people have a golden ear that notices stuff that could never be explained to another and so on. Just do what you do. I was just stating that I have also heard this comparison with similar views.
tormenting members like...you.
I adjusted posts where he put you on blast
***deranged has never banned me and we constantly get into it. LOL.***
I hear that. Couldn't disagree if I wanted to. But since you've chimed in, I have one question. Yes or No. No further explanation is needed if you feel no need to. Do you think Malki's test was free of errors that could compromise the results making it insufficient evidence of a factual difference between the sound of bouncing out of Reason and Rewiring?![]()
I know pro mixing engineers that swear by mixing in Sonar for some reason....
I know before I got in the habit of mixing downward that my protools mixes were terrible because the protools mix engine allows clipping per channel unlike 90% of the other software out there.
there's a first time for everything...right?

No, I said it in my very first post that the test wasn't great. But there is def something going on there because I know pro mixing engineers that swear by mixing in Sonar for some reason.... I know before I got in the habit of mixing downward that my protools mixes were terrible because the protools mix engine allows clipping per channel unlike 90% of the other software out there.
Sonar is kinda lucrative...i know a few cats that be runnin' that shyt faithfully; and w/ not even that great of mics / pre's, their shyt be comin' out somewhat solid.
so it's true that the only channel you have to worry about clipping on in ProTools is the master channel?
I show up to clear smoke
I couldn't imagine what you would have to do to get a ban from him
all you gotta do is prove him wrong or make him look like a chump & POOF!...
