by: Donald S. Passman
 
If anyone is into electronic sound programming, or the physics and structure of sound at a fundemental level-- Designing Sound by Andy Farnell was an exceptional read.

Even if you don't want to make sound from programming, the first few hundred pages give a complete breakdown of sound engineering 101.

Composition for Computer Musicians by the same author :)

Very easy to understand :)
 
The Art of Mixing and the Engineer's Handbook are key in my collection.
 
napolean hills book is great! It helps you understand what mindset it takes to succeed...one thing is certain...every succesful man had a women in his life that influenced or motivated him to be "the Man"
 
Ive read the Idiots Guide to music theory... good book. I recommend the "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.
