Invets in protecting your equipment, Furman's, MOnster Power, etc., make great & afforable surges, that not only protect your equipment, but helps increase the sound quality.

Going to have to agree with this one. I went to Compusa and picked myself up a couple good surges. Cost some money but they were worth it considering the equipment I have connected.

The thing about getting a surge protector for music, is that to make sure that it filter's out "white & pink-noise". That's why I named the 2 company's that I did, also look at "Crane-song". Another, area to look @ are your cables, make sure that they are of excellent quality & help tp sheild against radio-waves.
 
I run my audio cables completely separate from my power cables in my studio so no worries in that department. As long as these surges cut out durring a spike, I'm good.

heres mine, i know i know stereo speakers, but the RCA's are just for treble. now the JVC's hit hard,(Real Hard) and there usb coneccted.

i'm not so sure the whole point of monitor speakers is to "Hit Hard" i think the point of monitors is to give you an equal flat sound so you can adjust your mix perfectly.

are u sure about that everything im hearing here isnt hittin as hard as it could. i hear a lot of highs but not a lot of lows.

OOH u hit the nail right on the head, this is why you should have a flat frequency response. Sure they hit hard on your speakers, but if you had monitors there would be a greater chance that it would sound the same on all different type of speakers.

I have the Beringer Truth B2031A's, the B2030A's and KRK V8's in my set up. soon to be a pair of Yamaha's

Thx. Yah, got Ableton also up on the tv. Set it up that way because I have some people that come over to record, like a guitar part or something, and want to offer some suggestions on which loop to take or which effect to throw on it or how to reorganize the midi. I didn't like people looking over my shoulder, so they can sit on the couch and watch the 37" while I have some space. :)
