it's the only place i have enough room for far micing **** - i like to use natural reverb whenever i can, and the outdoors with no ceiling and 4 brick walls is awesome for that. i'll get some pics of it later.

Beatfreq, nice setup man, how do you like those TTX's? Are they worth it, or you wish you would have gotten some Technics? I was just asking, cause i'm thinkin about gettin some TTX1's real soon.........

Studio + More

hey so i got thinking of a new lay out for my house today and decided that i would move my studio into our huge living room and move the living room into the current studio room. that would give me nearly 3 times the space and seeing as how i already have a piano in there as well, it just keeps all my stuff in one room now + it has Air Conditioning!!!! :cool:

so heres a drawing i did in MS Paint of my studio + some added gear that i'm workin up for in the next few months. I have a large storage area that is going to be turned into a vocal booth at the top. the gear in the picture is:

1 x Motif XS 7 (next month)
1 x Triton Studio 6 (have)
6 x Behringer Truth Monitors
1 x Digi 003 (next month)
1 x MPC 2000XL (few months)
1 x Mac Pro (few months)
1 x PC (hidden under desk)
1 x Toshiba Laptop
1 x Yamaha accustic Piano
4 x Pro Tools HD units (dreaming)
and various other rack mounted units

i was bored off my ass today at work so this is what i came up with.

Had a move around in my studio pics are a little dark didnt use the flash I will take some more later.

Stuff to add are new monitors (dyn's or adams) a MV-8800 a new motif board (xs) and a 16 channel mackie mixer to route gear in.

Daze, nice set-up. But what the hell did you take those with? I've seen cave men drawings on rocks that had more pixels. :D
 
haha it was an affect added on afterwards to change it up a bit heres the other pics

Daze: just curious.... would you mind resizing the pics next time, its really playing havoc on my screen with your pics sooo large.

If you need help doin so lemme know, i can't keep fillin up my screen and scrolling for 5 minutes to get through the pics.

I'm working on building up my gear collection now, I'm away from home workin a lot, but I'm gettin there.

just my amateur setup for now, I'll be moving everything including the new monitors and Decks into a new room soon.
