What is the blue gear next to your midi keyboard?

I see you have a laptop near your turntables; do you use it for live looping and effects or something?

the blue/purple machine is the E-mu MP-7, and I have loaded on the Powerbook G4 Reason and the New Ozonic is connected to the Powerbook G4. On the floor I have a Dual G4 POwerMAC with a Digi001 installed on it. I could not afford a Digi002 FW, but maybe later I will get one when I get a Dual G5. But for now it kicks but with the Digi001 and ProTools 6.4 installed.

so far this setup works for me, I mostly scratch, but I am starting to work more on the beats and TRYING to collab' with other Producers.

The MP-7 really has not done much for me, I think it is too complicated, but on the other hand, I need to just sit down and work with it too, like I did with Reason.
 
Wow...that's a ton of gear for such a small space. It's amazing your not dealing with some attenuation issues. ;)

BTW, do you have a day job or something. Where are you getting the loot for all this gear?! Maybe you just have a huge credit line. :D

yes I do have a day job, but it has also taken me 3 pathetic years to build. But I because I have the good buddy discount and tax exempt, I got the hookup...8o)
 
I was just trying to be funny. None of it was directed at you though. Just thought it was cool that you have all this great gear. :)
 
i think the old PDXs look dope. heaps better than the nu ones... and no wobbly platters either. i want another.

My setup is at the point now where at least I can concentrate on what I am doing. Before it was like ADDDDDDD uhhhhh what was I talking about?

I have since added Electric eq killers and switched amp to QSC 1850 HD
