yeah even with cheap parts, tube amps sound great. its just that you cant help but wonder how good expencive parts sound... and they really are worth the large amount of extra money if you really like sound enough to even bother building these things ; )

This is off topic, but I just saw those LP frames at a records store. I'm thinking about buying a couple of them. Did you keep the records in them? Or is it just the sleeve?

i bought new blank sleeves for them. i get blank sleeves and inner sleeves for everything whenever possible. yeah the only song i dont play is my dj hooligan - hear you now [grand chillas mix] but thats not even framed.

i got a lot of 80's electro i dont play - but thats cos it sucks *** :)

i like the through the cinderblock pic..

neat angle and you can read the technics slipmats....
nice touch ;)

Haha, you like the mirror thing, eh? :D

It's not a vanity thing or anything. I'm a battle dj and showmanship and stage presence does count for something. I just do it to see how I look while im doing my set. Actually, a lot of turntablists/battle dj's practice in front of a mirror.

some pics of my setup-----i made the stand myself----not bad for 40 bucks

ahh I cant figure ou how to post em?????

Nice work on the stand. I need to figure out how to get a picture of my set up now. It looks very funny.
