Never used Studio One before and we do have support for a reason. Xab got his issue done in 10 minutes. Chris Carter even faster, we do our best to take care of our customers issues.

Yep, I use 64-bit Studio One 2 Pro. I haven't had a problem with any crashes when using T-RackS 3 (Black 76 and White 2A are my goto compressors for EVERYTHING.) Please make sure you have the latest version of both T-RackS (3.5.1) and Studio One Pro (2.0.5). If you continue to have problems, contact IK Tech Support. Our Tech Support team is proficient with Studio One 2 Pro, and can troubleshoot any problems you are having.

what is your installation directory path for T-RACKS 3 DELUXE?

It's installed to the default folder C:\Program Files (x86)\IK Multimedia\T-RackS 3 for the main program, and I have the 64-bit plugin extensions in C:\VstPlugins64, which is the folder I have designated for all 64-bit plugins to go. Studio One 2 x64 uses this as the default VstPlugins folder. If you installed the 32-bit TRackS 3 DLLs into your 64-bit folder, this could be what is causing your crashes. Try reinstalling T-RackS 3 Deluxe 3.5.1 and pay close attention to the VST plugins installation folders during setup. There will be one for 32-bit plugins and one for 64-bit plugins. Also make sure your x64 Studio One 2 default VST plugins folder is the same one your x64 T-RackS 3 plugins went into.

aiight...i'm working on it...

This is important to note: C:/VstPlugins64 is a folder of my own creation. You can name your 64-bit VstPlugins folder whatever you want, and put it anywhere. What is important is that you keep this folder separate from your regular 32-bit VstPlugins folder, and that you select it as your default VstPlugins folder for any 64-bit DAW software in the software audio setup/preferences.

Oh hello! :D

T-Racks is already fully 64 bit. We've been slowly bringing each and every product line to full 64 bit goodness.

T-Racks is a great package for shaping your mixes into sonic beauty. They changed how I was mixing and are a better tool set in my opinion than anything out there for the price and WAY beyond.

The only 2 products that aren't 64 bit are CSR and SampleTank, both of which are currently in development here at IK. :)

Any other questions?

Ummmm... aren't you a bit biased though??? I can't help but notice the IK Multimedia signage... IJS :-)

no such thing; not in Studio One...there's no "default" VstPlugins folder or option

what "default VST plugins folder"???

I don't have or use Studio One but I think I remember reading that Studio One Artist version does NOT support 3rd party plugins so on that version there isn't a default folder for VST's. If you have this version then you would need to upgrade to Producer or Professional I think to have that option. They may have changed this IDK....like I said I don't use it. I guess if you don't have the Artist version it could be something else but you should be able to go to Studio One > Options > Locations > VST Plugins tab

It doesn't change the fact that they make great and solid products that perform extremely well. He works for IK BECAUSE he loves the products. Not the other way around. Which is why I've always had lots of respect for Obi. He only pushes what he believes in.

@[F or DEAF]

I've also tested Studio One 2 x64 with T-Racks with NO problems. The updates to Studio One are probably the issue. If you look through Studio One update release info you will see all the bugs they have relating to plugin support especially with x64. It's probably not the IK stuff. Their builds are always rock solid IMO. Even when they do release bug updates it is usually very small fixes. Most people could probably use v1.0 with little problems.

surely.

but there's no such thing as a DEFAULT folder - that's all i'm sayin'

Oh...ok I got ya....then thats messed up man. Something is weird but I don't know enough about Studio One maybe dude can come back on here and help you out bro.

By "default" VST Plugins path, I simply mean add it to the list of folders to scan. Which likely would be only one, hence "default"

Yeah I agree 100% with what Morning said man.....Obi is a stand up guy and he is not going to push whack product to his fellow FP's. I been on and off of here since like 06' and I have never seen anything but a dude being helpful to cats in all that time when it comes to Obi.

Plus he is not trying to hide the fact that he is with IK....you see in his post it says "WE'VE been slowly bringing each and every product line to full 64 bit goodness"
WE clearly means he is including himself in the statement.

i uninstalled celemony melodyne that came bundled with SO2 pro, and now my T-RACKS 3 DELUXE plug-ins run just fine.

^Weird..

Based on that, i'm willing to bet your issues have something to do w/ vst3's. If you reinstall Melodyne, try maybe reinstalling just the vst2 version if u need to run both Melodyne & TRacks. i see things clash sometimes (not S1.. just DAWS in general) when both vst3 and vst2 are installed, b/c the DAWs sometimes point to both folder n get confused.

Thanks for the cosign! I've been here for a long time and was recommending IK BEFORE I worked for them. If I didn't believe in IK's stuff I wouldn't be working for them. Try them out and you'll know what I mean, they sound amazing. I mean we make stuff that sounds amazing, still got to get used to saying that more and more. :)
