I had a MS2000, which is the same as a microkorg just in a different "shell". I did not like the korg. It was too "analogy". I know its supossed to be that way. I like warm smooth sounds as opposed to electric digital sounds. So i sold my ms2000 for the XVIII Jordans. The ones that look like there all one piece and dont have laces, but there really under the wrap. there SWEET!

Nah man, that is the Control 24. It's a nasty board, cost a good amount. I'm hoping they go down in price since the new units will start coming out soon.

Yo, Pase. Is that the QL-400 stand that your MPC is sitting on? Do the metal tabs (that keep it from sliding forward) ever get in the way of the drive? I considered buying one, but this was my only concern with it.
 
Yea that is the quicklok. My mpc has the zip in it and you can position it so that the tab doesn't block the drive at all

Yeah, I think I've seen'em for $7,000 or so. I actually considered getting one, but I'm on LE with the 002 Rack. Though I'd love to have one, I don't think the cost is justifiable considering my current set up.

very impressive...your one of the chosen few usein the mv-8000 ive seen on this site...are you sequencin it with pro tools???
i use my mv for the sequencer i love it

Yea i sequence in tools and sometimes I track in tools. Mostly for recording though...I MC also.
