Rules

Man, those are like the most important rules I ever heard, most are just plain everyday sense not just a producer buy everyone should have. Like the onoe on read the manual. WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO READ THE MANUAL? Even when I buy a game, on the ride home I'm reading the manual!!! People don't like to read. Like Chris Rock once said. "If you want to hide something from someone, PUT IT IN A BOOK!!" I'm loving what you posted.

Very good post! I've been into production for a little over 3 years but I still consider myself a newbie. I've bought equiptment that was a big waste of money just because those "False Prophets" knew how to dazzle ignorant beginners and I payed the price for it litterally. I'm just finally starting to get the grasp of music theory down packed finally and ill be posting my beats up real soon...

Very good post, all beginners should print that and put it up in the studio

well said everyone must stay humble................i been in this business for 2 years now.........i havent made a hit yet but i will soon..............

How to get started!

Practice your ass off while everybody sleep make songs. Make songs everywhere you go at work make songs. Make songs in your dreams then find a program that will help you express every thing that you been doing. Come on boards like this one and submit your songs to people and let them send you back BS reply's like you got it just keep trying and don't give up. I started out in 01 and now i'm just getting to the point where people are feeling me. It takes time people will know you put in the work you cannot fool them. If you really love what you are doing you will not stop.
