Great advice!

People look at me crazy when I have to plug my ears at the movie theater. Is it me, or have the movies become EXTREMELY loud?
 
Hey guys I was giving some tuition last night at my studio and my student complained about the beat feeling non human. I suggested recording some shakers and percussion in live via a microphone. Lets just say he was very pleased with the result.

Great advice. I always make sure I carefully research any gear I'm contemplating on buying before I purchase it. It is so important to be efficient with your budget and master what you already have.

I'm not new to music, but newish to producing...

This is getting printed and put up with blue tac in my office/studio... if I'm permitted :)
