Ya, it's pretty much just commons sense, but sometimes....you need somebody to tell you how to use it. ha:cheers:

New Post That Will Be Helpfull to all Music Producers

I need everybody to go and check out my new post. It contains inportant information on how to sell beats online and how to market your beats. It is a amazing inspiring post. So go and check it out. Thanks everyone.

nice job man - i think you managed to sum it up in ten items - those are certainly the top ten most important points

but if i may offer one more, its a bit of advice ive always had trouble learning: just because something sounds like something youve heard before doesnt make you a copycat. its inevitable that we will create music that embodies things weve heard - theres only 12 pitches in that scale and only so many octaves within our audible range, and western music only gives us a relative handful of chord progressions and structures. dont be afraid to be inspired by someone elses sound - youre still you and youre not a knockoff!

thanks a bunch.. helpful posts to read through. this website is a goldmine..

Spot on man, I really like the one about protecting your ears. It just kills me people dont get that as common sense.

Now, days you can run an FL set uo on a laptop with an external mpc and midi keyboard. Sync it up with reason, load up your own custom drums and bang out the hottest, highest quality sounding tracks. Track out your beats in pro tools and mix and master them properly (if you have the know ho) if not its worth the$$$ to pay a pro. Top notch sound is what everyone in the industry expects, nothing less.

Bottom line. Pro tools, Reason, Hot VST's, FL 8 and you cant touch me with any hardware.

P.s. - I even hooked up my mpc and roland phantom & e-mu racks (ANOLOG HOMIE) to my FL 8 rig via midi and jam out hitz all day long !!!!
