man I wish half priced books called me I go there atleast twice a month. And Idk about that Alc flip I thought the flip on Purple Haze was best and the one Irv Gotti did for Ja Rule were both better than Alcs imo

Yea thats wut i did after i went to a different store on the other side of town and saw a flyer that had something similar on so i called tha one by my house and the guy said he would give me a call he knew who i was cause i've been goin there for a couple years now
 
I tried and the next time I went they had a whole new staff. They have a higher turnover than burger king at my half priced books. And the people that work there are generally book worms.
 
Are all the records the same price? Here they are all $2.99
I went to a Half Priced Books in another state (Indiana) and it was almost like they were a record store. They knew the goods and had them priced accordingly.
 
we have clearance bins for records that have been there for a while or they have a ton of copies that range from a quarter to $1 and everything else ranges from $3 to $20 depending on the popularity of the band. People around here dont know how to price shit they just go off the name of the artist and how big the hit or hits were
 
i hate to say that i havent been diggin in few days.. been working a lot. and i havent had time to read this thread yet even tho mods were kind enough to sticky it. :(
 
Pump do you go diggin everyday? My girl ******* about me goin once a week Id hate to hear her mouth if I went everyday. We already have no closet space due to my gear thats not in use and my vinyl lol
 
,ahaha,lol.... well, there's a fleamarket right next to our house so i go there're very often. lots of good records there for ridiculously cheap price. my closet is also full of records. my girl havent said anything yet about it tho, haha :D
 
dammit Gilson stop buying all of my records. I haven't even listened to that Stevie Wonder yet lol. The War is great though. Lots of good samples.
 
LOL. I'm not familiar with the Stevie album. Not worried about it, I know it'll be dope hahaha.

Damn, I just got done listening to it. What a great album, might be my favorite from them.

I forgot to post my finds from half price a lil something alot of the stuff i already had or ripped didnt get a chance to go through everything tho probably gonna go diggin at a couple spots this week and weekend
 
hows that Isleys record? Ive seen it a bunch of times but never bought it. The issac hayes i hear is dope too. I should just go buy them

I love this isleys record i've been lookin for it for awhile with footsteps in the dark and voyage to atlantis on it you cant go wrong. The Issac Hayes is dope too
