very nice beat dude.

nice arrangement, nice atmosphere etc.

i just would turn the "fast" staccato Cymbals a little bit down, (but thats just personal taste)...

Thanks for that. Returned your feed in your thread.

Dope beat i really like its kinda creative & like the video too but when you get the time check me out...

Great job. I really like the atmosphere & the panned snares. The reverb on the hi-hats added to the beat

Yep. It's dope. Quality of the mixing is very good too. I hadn't heard the original before but this was nice. Can't really say much apart from...it sounds like the original pretty much and the quality is nice.

Wow! You are so much better than me! Hope to be this good one day:hello:

Nice snare panning, however I never liked it when the hi hats were panned far left or far right.

For some reason that made me throw up and I find you very cheesey and obnoxious. I can't see how I could possibly take this seriously.

Nice snare panning, however I never liked it when the hi hats were panned far left or far right.

Kool. TY for listening tho.

Thank you man. Really insightful feedback.

Yeah man this pretty damn close to the original sounds nice and big and the drums are real clean. Would have liked to hear you alternate the snare the other way around in the panning. That kind of bored me out slightly.

The modulation on the other pad in the original would have fit perfectly on this mix. So job well done with re creating and remixing the track to make it your own. Think you could have replicated those toms that they used in the original to get it a bit closer.

Though if I were to rate it would say hard 7.5/10 just because that modulation on the original synth/pad is epic and is what really makes the whole beat, besides the vocals.

I like your work in After effects and the marketing strategy you have going on, may attempt that if I ever waste my time with gaybook.

Also to top it off I always appreciate your feedback its one of the best on this forum.

Hit me one more time on my new mix of this track -

It's a nice beat and decent mix but you didn't really put much effort into this one...the Tyga song has a whole bunch of interesting variations that make the song, you've just taken 1 simple progression and programmed a dynamic drum part around it for variation. But maybe that's just me and generally not liking songs that are remakes, it's like copying on a test, you may get 100% but you didn't really do the work.

those panned snares sound nice in stereo but put it into mono and the snare almost dissapears, the Hi-hat changes volume dramatically as it is pretty hard panned left. As a general rule you should be trying to keep your drum sounds in the middle of your mix for this reason.

I much prefer your original works as you seem to put more effort into melodies etc.

Liked the hats/snare and how they sat in the mix. One suggestion would be to maybe make the part where the drums come in 1:07 or so a little more dramatic? Like maybe build the melody a little more before dropping drums, would give it more impact imo....

The ambient vox sounds in the middle were nice and the synths sound really chill. Maybe could shorten the track a little, b/c it gets a little repetitive and at 5.5 minutes long thats pretty long for one beat imo....

All very useful tips which I guess if I do come across a similar experience I will keep in mind. But a 7.5 for a remake is still pretty good. The reason I didn't want to make it the exact same is because I didn't have similar sounds and drums. So i took the fundamentals and ran with it, so it will sound like it but different.

Also to top it off I always appreciate your feedback its one of the best on this forum.

Likewise! Your comments are very insightful when you do post so i do my best to return you the favor, with or without refeed request. So keep it up.

A decent argument. As I pointed out (above) I did try to give it a slight variation rather than going for full on perfect remake, as I don't quite have similar sounds which would complement the original. But I get where you're going.

And as a personal preference of mine, the less percussion elements I have in my mix to pan, then I pan my hats. It is not hard left, I think in this one its about 15-20%. But I widened the stereo field on my master so maybe that's why it sounds that way. I will troubleshoot this effect some more and in mono as well.

Thanks for the feedback. Will keep those in mind.

Understood. I may mess around with it some more, not sure yet so I will keep that in mind.

As for the length, yea it's really long, and that's about the length of the track (5:26) including the part where his mother talks on the track at the end. But with my remake the length seems overwhelming indeed.

How did you get that video template thing? ...

An audio visualiser thing. I searched on youtube and got a link to download. And I basically changed the background, and color and size a bit to fit. I'll add it to the video descriptions.

Hey man this is pretty dope...

Thnx feed returned.
