It is a pick your poison we just have different opinions of these issues. really me having a gun isn't gonna stop the government from taking my rights. Plus my neighborhood is just recovering from a kid getting hit by strays from a guy defending himself from getting robbed. So my belief on the guns isn't really changing.

Onto getting professional help it's a toss up. I had a friend who was seriously depressed, told her family and they brushed it off. We as her friends knew, but there is only so much we can do. We're not trained to treat a depressed person. Best thing she did was actually seek professional help. Turned her life for the better. These type of situations aren't uncommon with depression. Now for the different ways of treating depression you can argue that out.
 
This thread is just further support of not believing EVERYTHING you read on the Internet.

mental illness is very serious, I have bipolar disorder and It's very hard to live with.

as beat off said, mental illness in the black community is hardly ever talked about and not accepted as a real thing. this really has to stop.

This is a real sad story, I hope they find closure.

You're right about that. I have social anxiety and it is very hard to live with.

I agree.. somehow people think this guy was depressed.
Everybody that knows him are saying how he was his final days.
Total opposite of a person going through depression.
Nobody's that good of a fake.

But my opinion is always against what is popular on this board.
They said it was taxes at first,
then they said he was depressed,
then they said he was broke.
Then they said he mad about a divorce.

All came out wrong.


Its like a rumor that people don't want to see go,......cause they are dealing with those issues.
Also proven by reading the post on this board.

People are relating their own personal depression stories to his.
You are not human if you haven't been depressed in your life. But sheesh...

Its not my business, I wont waste my time worrying about another man's demise. Truth is none of us knows what really happened, how depressed he really was, what enemies he had, etc. Get over it.
 
what exactly points to murder though? Even the medical examiner ruled it suicide. in fact i can't find much online that shows anything that makes a strong case for murder

I understand what ur saying from a distance but still...this is why black murders rarely get solved.
Cause nobody give a shit ....unless its someone they know.
 
Dont get me wrong, I want it to be solved so the family and friends can have closure and the murderer (if there is one) is put to justice. But its up to the involved parties to worry about and take care of. It isnt helping us here progress any.

See that is the problem. Our community is the only one that takes this though pattern.

This needs to change.

But I don't blame you...... Our music and upbringing brings on this kind of thinking as well.
 
It isnt just one community. I dont like it either but thats reality. I wish it could be different myself.
I care that Lightly died, I feel I couldve possibly worked with him one day. But life goes on

Sources said Lighty had a stormy but close relationship with his wife, Veronica.
