Uh...uh...you got me in my rhymes over here lol I like this beat it has a nice old school feel to it but still carries a lot of energy, I can see someone like Kendrick bringing the fire on this one with his fast kinda style that he had on Rigamortis or something like that, pretty dope overall. I would also say lower that offbeat sax/horn, it hits like someone stepped foot on to the train tracks at the wrong time lol but I love the sound it brings, just a bit of volume decrease...these melodies are real nice though, real smooth stuff
Damn, this is some smooth shit. Love the drums and how you've EQ'd them in this. I feel like the horns that come in at about 0:35 are a bit harsh, a filter might work nicely on those. Other than that this is nice man, especially like the bassline.
starts out gangsta man! lol that bassline. oooh this is fresh i like the backround type distorted synth there. i do feel like the horn hits are a bit too punchy. i do like how the horns boost the energy before the chill verse section.
really nice work here dude! check me out!
nice jazzy vibe to it. this is smooth ... i can picture this being played at like a open mic or like i said before jazz night club. it just has that vibe like i feel like snapping my fingers. lol
Is this a Massive Attack or Portishead sample? Like it regardless - def up my alley and the drums sound nice on it. I just wish you filled them out a little bit more with some Soundgoodizer so that they sound lush like the horns and the panned flute (right speaker) you add in. Nice beat here and def sounds like something Jon Brion would make.
