@JL first problem is that you're using a PC. @Noble have you screwed Rick Ross' mother yet?

I'm on a 3.06ghz core 2 iMac and iTunes takes just as long to load on it as it does on my Toshiba Laptop running win vista. That's not saying it's fast on either, that's saying it's slow as hell on both.

Mac users always hype stuff up like it works better on Mac. B.S.

I love iTunes though. Same way I love Pro Tools. When it comes to either, you should turn them on before you need to use them so when it's time to use them they're already up and running. Whether you use PC or Mac.

My old setup is somewhere in this thread, here's how it looked today....can't show everything cause the room doesn't offer the best angles for pic-taking.

@ Deranged:

I personally like Mac better only because of how easy it is to install and uninstall hardware/software compared to my (very long) experience with Windows. I don't get into the Win vs Mac nonsense cause in the end it's all about what works for you. A powerful PC is just as bad-ass. I can say with certainty though that I've never had a PC (and I've had many high end boxes) boot up as fast as my macs. In the end that doesn't mean crap but let's say for instance that MacBook you see there. It wakes from sleep in about 1.5-2 seconds. I love it. Fires up Pro Tools in about 5 seconds. But I've only recently gone back to mac, i've made 98% of my fire using Dell/Sony/Micron (when they were in business) etc. Long live both.

Dope. Macbook Pro, 003, MPC 5000. Dope.

Dope setup! this is definitley dream setup for me.

How does the m50 sound though?

It doesn't sound bad at all......if you've got a keyboard amp or a mixer with a good plugin or two you can make it sound pretty powerful. It wasn't the thing for me though. I got a good deal on it, which is why I bought it....ended up selling it on eBay. I wanna get my hands on some real boards...but i'm considering investing in the complete EWQL collection as well, put that Keystation to good use. That guy Torley on YouTube got me SOLDDDDDD.

Truth. I have a windows pc and a macbook, and I honestly have MORE problems with the mac than the PC.

Updated studio pics today.
