Yo Is it me or is Will I.A.M a very underrated Hip Hop artist and Producer. Dude is a very talented, he does not get the respect he deserves. Have ya'll heard his album. In my opinion it is one of the best albums I have heard in a while. It is a classic albu
 
WILL.I.AM is one of those dudes whose just different. He just has a different style. You have to respect him for the way he takes his music and turns it commercial. Once he starts to work with more artist, he'll get noticed. He's a talented dude.
 
ehh im not a fan of him as a rapper.. but his production i pretty nasty, he's very versatile..

he gets it from his mama (bad pun intended)
 
i agree. very underated. hes one of the most talented guys in music i think. ever song he is involved with is so unique and he sells it. i love his stuff personally

i think hes a great producer. his style is crazy. that one track on Game's album was nice
 
the only bash on him is what he turned the black eyed peas into and what he did with fergie.....
 
I like him. he's a beast when he wants to get a record done.
 
Will.i.am is just talented all around. Lets not limit him to beats lets remember him bein a beast before they added Fergie to the group
 
He's a very talented guy. That stylew of his is def. different but his producing skills are no joke!

The people that like it... will come

A lot of "producers" make music for the "PEOPLE" translation = for the money....

not a bad thing in the short term but a bad thing in the long term...

Stevie Wonder / Lionel Richie.... music for the long term... R. Kelly = Flirt = Last Summer...

You ninjaz better peep that 1:20 left to go breakdown... before Kanye does...

I'm agreeing with what Big Rome said. He does make MUSIC. And he does not make it for the people. But I think he will have be in this music industry for the long run. Alot of people like his style. Black eyed peas sold milliiiiooonsss. But we will see how good his albums sells.
 
I think he does a lot of stuff 'for the money'. It might not be the same as everything else out but alot of it is still pop ****.
However I think he can be a beast when he wants. the Hip Hop Is Dead beat is fire.
 
I came to know him from Common's latest album.Talented guy.
 
He brings that funk, definitely. He's also a bit too poppy for my taste, and i like a lot of pop/r&b/michael jackson kind of ****, so that's saying something.

Good beats from him: Compton by The Game (cause it was just sick....I mean come on...how was that not sick?), Can't Forget About You by Nas (nostalgic, emotional, classic). He has other but I can;t think of em right now...i just know I liked more from him

Then he buts out his latest solo album....what the fvck? I mean....dude...it's one thing to be poppy, but this was just painful. It was sad, too, cause I really thought he was gonna rap more like he did pre-fergie and ****.

Idk...I guess he's really not the same dude anymore.
 
I think he's mad creative. He's been an inspiration [musically] for me lately. As far as production goes. I don't really see him as an elite rapper or anything. But he's definitely a great artist/producer.
 
he is a very talented producer, one of the worst mc's though, and i dont consider him hip hop. he's just a dope beatmaker no more no less

I didn't know he did the Can't Forget About You beat, that song is dope as ****.
