Windows 7 OEM?

Just wondering what the difference between these two listings on CompUSA for Windows 7 64 bit is.

CompUSA.com | GFC-02050 | Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64BIT - OEM DVD

CompUSA.com | GFC-00019 | Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium DVD English

I noticed the cheaper one is OEM with no warranty and the more expensive one is not, with warranty.
Don't really understand OEM versions though.

note: My PC is custom built running windows 7 32 bit (lost the disc though so Im not sure about upgrading)

OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer

Generally means that they made the machine themselves (M$'s interpretation of the OEM licence) or are selling you the dvd and some parts to put your machine together yourself. However, the OEM licence is about making machines to sell on not for personal use.

Better off getting the one with the warranty; in case something goes wrong, you have someone who has to accept responsibility for fixing it.....

I'm not even sure those OEM licenses are legal to sell separately.

Nope, have to be sold with a piece of hardware to make it valid, then you have to sell the whole thing on to keep it valid.

Oem version once you activate it, it's tied to your motherboard and can not be use on another computer.
