My friends(a death metal band) and I are setting up our first home studio. They are making death metal songs, whereas I do hiphop. Are these equipments enough to start for us?

I only have FL Studio 10 and an Akai MPK mini. I've only started learning how to produce recently but I hope to develop a larger studio in the next few years.

I currently work on techno/happy hardcore since I not very skilled yet, but I'm hoping to move on to some trance and dance music in the future.
