what synths do you have?

I want to add 1 more, either a Nord Rack 2 or Waldorf Q...
Alot of people would advise you the Q (I guess), but I would take the Nord... For dance-oriented music ? Techno ? Hard Trance ? Take the Nord !

I'm leaning more towards the Nord. I don't use alot of effects in my music, and I've heard the Nord is quite strong without any. I think the Nord would have more to offer than the Q for me....

here's my list :

Synths,

• Korg Z1
korg n364 (for the quick crap sound)
Yamaha EX5R
Yamaha FS1R
• Roland MC 505
Roland JV 1080 (with vintage and "techno" cards)

Waldorf µQ omega and Yamaha AN1X to be added soon

Samplers,

Yamaha A5000
Yamaha A4000
Digidesign Samplecell

for software stuff I use Reason 2 and Reaktor

what I would class as synths...

Roland JP8000 (I use this as my controller keys)
Novation Nova (I like mine)
Oberhiem OB12 (potentially awesome but has let me down on the MIDI control side and multi-timbral mode sucks)

other stuff...

Korg O5R/W (my first module, quiet but limited s/s module)
Yamaha A3000 (sampler)
Alesis DM5 (drum module)
Boss GT5 (guitar effects pedal [ I sometimes try to play my Gibson SG ])
Lexicon MPX500 (outboard effects)
Behringer DDX3216 (digital mixer - just purchased and struggling to get to grips with [and is the main reason I joined this community])

Trouble is... I own all that lovely gear and still can't produce great sounding electro-rock music hahaha

ah well

i live in israel, the synth prices here and 2 times highter then in europe
with the price i pay for a 2nd hand synth you can buy a new one for the same price
let me show you:
a jp8080 2nd hand here cost around 850-950 euro and a new one cost about 1700 euro!!!! can you belive this ****?!
ok now the virus.... you cant even think about geting a 2nd hand c siries only a virus b....
a new virus c cost 1850 euro and a 2nd hand virus b cost 950-1000 euro....
so i got a "good" deal on a "new" jp8080 -only 956 euro :D
why am i saying "new" ?
cos its new.... its new from a synth store they are selling it so cheap beacouse they took it out from the original box and used it a month ago for a synth exhibition that occured here and now they dont need it any more and its laying around in the shop's display section....
