Right now I am talking to my African american people. How is it we hate those that look just like us have the same skin tone come from mother Africa as we do? I mean for a fact Crunk music as it's called and labeled is pretty much down south music, they have been doing that for a long long time, it's just getting out up north because of the young people who really don't know HipHop and no one has taught them real good lyrics or real good music. If that's how the south like to get down then let them get down like that. If you don't like something don't listen to it. The way is sounds is if North against South, sh*** is crazy, it sounds really dumb ass f***. I have lived in New York all my life visited NC stayed a year it's cool but it's not for me. Like I told my moms I don't like living there I like my four seasons, but I don't hate other African americans that live there. I tell you this, those southern artist stick together like a mofo !!! If lil Jon has a show he brings, himself, lil Scrappy, Big Boi, etc and they all make money. Oh no in New York, one cat on the bill he is like " man fu** RedMan and Meth we doing this whole show and getting all this money". Northern people need to learn a little something from the south on that aspect. As far as dissing one another how one may talk or his or her music love shouldn't be. Hip Hop is going to balance out it's not going to stay Crunk forever, everyone thought West Coast would last forever, it didn't New York will be back but even stronger. It will balance out where the north, the south, east and west can get money and make money together. Life is balance but when you take balance and unbalance it, it becomes detremental.

On that note I like some of the music from the south, but I can't mess with the lyrics because I am so use to hearing guys like Nas, and Jay-Z, Biggie, Guru, Chuck D flow. The words are meaningless, they have no lyrical substance to it D4L, I can't feel those guys because they are off on their raps, plus they really aren't saying anything. Young people are going to listen because they don't know any better. That's their biggest fans. Now what I do know, they are bringing those dances with those tracks, so their lyrics may not be up to par but they have the music and the dances so they are getting over, and let them get some money and live, if I don't like it I don't have to listen to it.

CRUNK IS HIP HOP its just a different form whether you like it or not. The south is where hip hop is popular right now and crunk is the way they do it. You have to respect there culture. I'm not saying you're as slow as the rest of them, but you are reinforcing the REASONS why a lot of east coast heads think them southern boys are slow as hell at least when it comes to opinions on hip hop. I know stereotyping can be a mutha, but come on man...if dudes still think NY is against partying without looking at our resume then they're probably some slow ass nyggas,

What I've ALWAYS SAID is that nyggas shouldn't come off with this blip bleep shyt trying to pass it off as hip hop...ESPECIALLY if your lyrics don't make any got damn sense. No one outside of the backpacker club is saying that hip hop shouldn't be different. I've partied to Neptunes shyt, Timbaland's beats...and right back to Just Blaze's "Flipside", and "Fire". Quite honestly if you're gonna equate Lil John's music with hip hop then you might as well equally throw it under the genre of house music. Sure there's no 4 on the floor beats in these songs, but lyrically speaking that shyt is HOUSE.


I want people to stop thinking that just because we want someone saying some nyce shyt over a track means that we want the message to be on some "save the world" kinda shyt. I think Noreaga's club lyrics put these nyggas to shame....and that's saying A LOT!!!!!! Hell you could come with Cam's verses on "Suck It Or Not", and you'll still be saying some pretty nyce/memorable shyt.

Because they're basically the Southern equivalent of boom bap music. Just with an extra boom and much less lyrical content.
