Trying to add a bassline to a sample, Need help

I'm attempting to make a bassline over the first part of a sample I used but I can't identify the chord used.

The song is called Tenderness is his way by Gladys Knight.

If you listen to the song, it is the first chord of the song. Thank you.
 
eventually found an internet radio station that had it on their playlist

it is slightly sharp of A=440Hz tuning standard, but is a G major chord
