**Top 5 Memorable Bass Lines?**

Well...I was listening to a song the other day and I realized how deeply entranced the bass made me feel, and how if I heard the tell-tale bass thump from a block away I would immediately recognize the song. Too bad I can't remember what the song was, but it lead me to think about *other* songs that had the sickest bass parts. I just wanna know what songs FP recognizes immediately.

1. Hot Boys(Big Tymers?)- # 1 Stunna
2. T.I.- Top Back
3. Az Yet- Last Night
4. Jeezy- My Hood, Hypnotize
5. Bel Biv Devoe- Poison

All that Diddy Era stuff.

Ma$e - All I ever wanted springs to mind.
Lately - TI, What you know
Warren G - Regulators, heck the whole G-Funk period.
50 Cent - Doin' my thang
BIG - Juicy

Just a handful off the dome

Brandy - Full Moon
The Isley Brothers - Between the sheets
Dr. Dre - Lets get high
DJ Quik - pitch in on a party
Warren G - I want it all

Busta Rhymes ft. Janet Jackson Whats It gonna Be
T I What U Know
Jay-Z Hollywood
Kanye West Touch The Sky
Alicia Keys Samsonite Man

Late Nite Tip - Three 6 Mafia
Affirmative Action - The Firm

I'm probably forgetting some classics, but here are some I could think of. In no particular order.

Rapper's Delight by Sugarhill Gang

Juicy by Biggie

Let Me Ride by Dr.Dre

Buddy Remix by Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Monie Love and The Jungle Brothers

Regulate by Warren G

thread has been done already....

So? Whats your input other than that? It's not like I'm posting about what Scott Storch wore to his bar mitzvah and why he is a terrible producer...just thought some people would wanna read something about music for once rather than the gossip that seems to be rampant around here.

if you wanna get old school, since most of the nu skool baselines are all influenced by that era anyway!

all of these are pretty good. But I have to cast my vote for

Don't even bother to respond to this type of stuff. It's better to post and have something that generates interest rather than we all sit back and wait to see if something that was never discussed shows up.

I have fun and enjoyed myself anyway.
