Steinberg UR-22 error sound in Ableton

Hello
I purchased Steinberg UR-22 and it seems fine. Windows and Reason work perfectly with it, but when using with Ableton Live Suite it kind of "sputters", something like old vinyl. I installed the newest drivers and it fixed the problem for one day. It was back again the other day. When I increase the buffer size to say 128 -256 samples it reduces the effect, but it is still there.
Anyone experienced this?
Is it OK to use bigger buffer size for sample rate 44.1?

you describe classic audio buffer processing problems - making the buffer larger, i.e. increasing the latency is the only true solution to the problem
