I'm not gonna lie when I lost my job last April.... Selling beats on the side put food on the table. 50 bucks here 100 bucks there ... I just wish that shyt would have been a constant stream of money.... You put that together with an unemployeement check and a lil side job here and there and you got pretty good... options are endless. I did what I had to to keep the pressure off my family. Paying a mortgage ain't a joke. But you got to build on the ideas and steady work on them.

Truth is you don't have to pay taxes if you are not making a substantial amount of money. Like my uncle ... who works 2 jobs and cuts grass on the side. But if you are making a living off of it... that's another story I'm not a tax expert.

I also know that if you get sued by someone in reguards to your side deal.... problems can come about. That's why it's usually best to start up an LLC.

Anyway..... it all on you if you want to report any extra income. Just know you will be taxed accordingly.

If I was making let's say 400/month from my beats .... I would not report it. I would not even bank it in some cases.... I'd spend it on equipment

People can report that they paid you... you don't have to report it yourself.

Contractors the work for themselves that build decks and all of that... sometimes ask to get paid in cash to try to avoid taxes... they don't know if the people that paid them are going to report them or not. They report you on a form 1099 MISC... if they paid you over $600.

It's on you though.

Did you know that the IRS won't bother you unless you make over $200,000... so don't really sweat it but just know that even though they won't bother you.... they can if they ever feel like it.

Check it out.... the IRS doesn't have time to waste

Brotha I would never knock anybody hustling (not hurting anybody) to help the fam.

Get money!

We was just talking about the 1099 form at my job.... That's some bullshyt... I'd hate to be hit all at once like that by the tax man.

my mom got audited a few years ago and she makes way less than that

If its possible to make a living off of Soundclick sales, then that's success in my eyes.

Id love to look at the bright side of things but when rent in a studio apartment is still close to $500 a month or more in the hood $300 a week is not a good look.

LOL man where ya'll live at?

Even in ol broke down Detroit you can't find nothing decent under $700

If you do find somethying here under $500 a bullet proof vest will be part your daily outfit :|

DUDE. Pay your taxes! I think anything over $600/Mo. You must pay.

But I might be wrong.

In any event. Don't mess with Uncle Sam's money!

He's a mean Mutha

If it cash don't put it in the bank.... they can't trace cash back to you if it's not banked. Checks and direct deposits get traced to you like nothing. I don't know about money orders.... but I figure you could rock that one too cause it doesn't have any connection to your social. But if you have no legal job and you paying on something that is connected to your social... you are done... you'll catch an audit.

Back in the day drug dealers had all they shyt in the mama's name. Or they was working a job as a front.

Pay your taxes, but don't sell yourself short... that's all I'm saying. Ain't like we talking millions here. I'm far from having a Swiss bank account to commit tax fraud. When you on the bottom ... that's it. Plus I don't believe in government assistance. They give you a little and make you jump through hoops for it. They can keep that shyt...

Yes, it's a problem on your end. Try unplugging your computer or formatting your hard drive.

If I did that, I couldn't take all of your customers. Thank you for being a gateway.

Hook is on the song in sig... you provide a valuable service to people that want to know where the action is.... keep grinding... for me, lol.

I go to work happy because I can come here and get validation from struggling couch potatoes like WHP... (don't believe none of this net ish and that's real)
