Troup/Rome, ya'll married? If so, how do you balance family responsibility with music responsibility. It seems like in today's day and age, time is currency and there's never enough for everything.
The way I used to do it was to get her to tie up as much time with her friends as possible... so I could do music. Her friends all liked me so I knew they weren't taking her out to do nothing crazy."
Now... psst. I have 300 skeleton beats that I never get a chance to finish, lol.
Don't let your woman subscribe to NetFlix or your music endeavors are over. You're always going to be called on to watch a movie and you can only put it on hold so many times before the neglect feeling creeps in on her.
... and if your woman doesn't have a hobby of her own, it's a wrap !
The laptop and headphones thing won't fly... the man-cave studio... won't fly... set up in the master bedroom won't fly...
and if you have kids, the time your woman doesn't want - the kids will.
Unless you're a selfish person... you won't really find a lot of time to do music and to keep everybody happy. Pretty much you'll do music for a long time and they'll get used to it and then you'll stop and say "Hey everybody I'm done with music!!!" and they'll say in their heads "Who gives a ish, we found other stuff to do" and "family time" won't be as much to 'em... or her if you're single.
If the shoe were on the other foot... what would you do? Really... if she made music and had on headphones or was in a separate room... what would you do if she just kept saying "I'm almost done..." and the music seemed more fun to her than spending time with you... you'd eventually get tired of it and when she stopped it wouldn't seem like a big deal and sort of fake.
Eh... I guess my way to deal with it is... just trying to do what I can. If she's watching girly shows, I'm out. Thanks to Top Model, Next Chef, What Not to wear and all that... I get to make music in spurts, lol.

daamn a wire brush hell naw. also lol at fp dudes being on there
One of 'em had the same name as his FP name... some of 'em were promoting music because a lot of singers and ish be on there I guess. One platinum selling artist was reading it on a reality TV... and crying about what the people were saying.
Crazy part is that they were giving more feedback on the music than FP members, lol. Pages of paragraphs and ish. The music was mostly RnB... I wouldn't trust their opinions on Hip Hop ish... you might get clowned for not having "Nelly" beats or something.
Wire brush on the rims should've been edited by a mod on that site.
