so who on this site has gotten placements through PMP so far?

A&R Scoe, Conrad, Riggs, and Lenny are Scamming people.

Have anybody been scammed by Anthony "Scoe" Walker, Conrad Dimanche, Riggs Morales, and Lenny S before? Has anybody received messages from Anthony "Scoe" Walker since early of 2009 till now? And has anybody contacted Conrad Dimanche from this email address "cdimanche@tmo.blackberry.net?" Please be very very aware of these A&Rs because they all are scammers in the loose wanting your money.
Anthony "Scoe" Walker who was once an A&R for Def Jam records, Lenny S who was once an A&R for Def Jam/Roc-a-Fella, Conrad Dimanche who was once an A&R for Bad Boy, and Riggs Morales who was once an A&R for Shady Records does not work for their Record Company any more. I did a lot of research/background check on all of these guys and every single one of them are currently unemployed since 2009. Jay Z, Eminiem, P Diddy, etc etc... are the ones that signing artist for their label, they don't got an A&R rep working for them at the momment. Not anymore!
Most of these unemployed A&Rs are freelance A&Rs in their spare time.
Most of the freelance A&Rs/scam artists are usually individuals who at one time worked for a major label, but have now either had their position eliminated or have been laid off. Major labels have been aggressively trimming that workforce for years now. At any rate, just because they have connections doesn't mean they will get you a recording contract and just because they onced worked for a major label does not mean that they are legitimate now. Always keep this in mind, when you interact with A&Rs online, they do a lot of name dropping in order to impress you with how connected they are.
These freelance A&Rs/scam artists do not have the power to sign any artist a recording contract because they do not work as an A&R for their recording company any more. Usually freelance A&R's would come up with ways to make fast money just to manipulate unsigned artists for their money. They would set up websites for freelance A&Rs/scam artists like A&R Live Hookup, A&R Select, A&R Unlimited, Themusicblast, Musicxray, majormusiccontact and plenty more of those sites that charges inspiring artist to get their music listened/reviewed. They would set up their own management company, their own A&R consultant company, and their own wesite for beats submissions or etc etc.
They will tell you lies about the music bussiness so you will believe that you have to do this and that to make it! Sometimes they don't have to tell you **** and they just keep it moving. When an A&R do bussiness with people, the artist should never ever pay up front and they should never ever pay to get their music heard. If an A&R loves your music and believes in you as an artist, they will sign you right off the bat. The label will invest their time and their money on a artist.

By the way, the only sites that is legit are Taxi, CD Baby, and Ariel Publicity.

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT PRO-A&R REPS DO ON A DAILY BASIS.
New A&Rs for new recording companies are looking to sign new artist every year. Any A&R knows that they can't signed an artist without getting permission from the head C.E.O. first. When a artist gets signed, they end up on their artist roster list. It's very hard to keep an A&R's attention for the simple fact that they have to do everything at once. They have to take all the responsibitity for all their artists music that they've signed. This includes helping the artist to find the right record producer, scheduling time in a recording studio and advising the artist on all aspects of making a high quality recording. They work with the artist to choose the best songs to record. For artists who do not write their own music, they will assist in finding songs and songwriters. A&R executives maintain contact with their counterparts at music publishing companies to get new songs and material from songwriters and producers.
A&Rs tend to be very busy people, so they can't be looking for new artist everyday unless they receive demos from agents, lawyers, managers, or friends/people that they know of because they are not allowed to receive unsolicited material. Some A&Rs/record labels do accept solicited material, but most of them don't, because they fear that the artist might sue them for using their songs/beats without permission or whatever the case may be. These things have happened in the past and that is why most of them stop receiving solicited material.
Record companies uses their profit/investment money to produce, release, and promote an album. Recording time, manufacturing, packaging, photos, distribution, marketing, and music videos are just some of the areas where the label must spend money on an act it has signed. The label usually absorbs these expenses, but in some artists contracts, some of this money may be due back to the label, unless otherwise worded. Advances (upfront money that is paid directly to a recording artist) are normally always owed back to the label. Once (and if) the advance has been paid back from record sales, the artist then begans to see royalty payments for additional sales. Advancing an act money is a risk the label endures as it does not know how well the act's album will sell.
With today's Record label companies, record labels are struggling financially because of album sells are not generating enough money no more to survive, so the artist have to generate more money from doing shows/touring. New forms of digital distribution have changed the relationship between consumers and the music they choose. In the wake of declining record sales, a large number of A&R staffers have been terminated.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW HOW THE BUSSINESS WORKS, AND NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON INTO TODAY'S MUSIC INDUSTRY, I HOPE YOU LEARN A LOT FROM THIS. THE FUTURE OF THE MUSIC BUSSINESS HAS CHANGE. PRETTY SOON A&RS WILL NO LONGER EXIST TO THE MUSIC BUSSINESS. VERY SOON LABELS WILL BE DOING EVERYTHING DIGITALLY. THAT MEANS ANY ARTIST WHO WANTS TO GET SIGNED WITH A RECORDING CONTRACT HAS TO SELL OVER 100,000 DIGITAL SELLS FROM ITUNES, TUNECORE OR ANY OF THOSE DIGTIAL DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES ONLINE. TO PREVENT YOU FROM GETTING RIPPED OFF, YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR MUSIC LICENCED TO BMI, OR ASCAP.

Now let me tell you about con artist-A&R scammers. There are plenty of sleazy individuals and business entities that have been observing the decline of the traditional recording industry. They have noticed all the new artists cropping up, looking for fame and fortune. They smile when they see the common portrayal of artists on MTV and VH1 as rich, living extravagant and glamorous lifestyles, getting huge "record deals", and so on – even though that image is extremely distorted. All of this has created a prime market for services and products targeted towards musicians who want to make it big, and unfortunately for us, the majority of these are scams. You heard of Anthony "Scoe" Walker right? He's the one that use to send thousands of messages/comments to artist from social networking sites like Myspace, etc etc. If you look up his full name on Google, you will see that many people questioned if Scoe is a scammer. Every one of them have received similar/same messages from him. The first thing you need to pay attention to is how the email is written. Are they only speaking about your music in general terms? Are they not referencing specific songs, or if they are, are they being so vague that they could really be describing any song? These should all send up red flags. Real professionals that like your music would want to ask you for your number to speak to you through the phone and would want to ask for your house address to come see you in person. If you find other artists or musicians receiving the same messages you did. That means that whoever is contacting you just wants your money, and doesn’t care about your music. If you suspect something is up, be cold and ruthless when you email or call up the company. Demand to be told all the facts. Grill the "talent scout" on why YOUR music was picked. Honest businesses can stand up to the pressure because they have nothing to hide – scam companies will falter, fumble, become overly defensive, and give wishy washy answers. Conrad Dimanche who was an A&R for Bad Boy is also in this with Scoe since he's the one who started PMP worldwide. Two months ago he posted up a video about "THE FIRM A&R CONSULTING SERVICES." He put out his information so artist can reach him about their music. When you contact Conrad, he will tell you this "What's up, so what I do is set up meetings for artist with good music. The meetings are with heads of A&R at major labels, I get the meetings by giving the label my personal cosign of the artist or producer. I charge 1200 per meeting and would need to screen the music as I have to protect my reputation, if you are interested I can send you my gmail address to get the ball rolling. I also provide a one page agreement guaranteeing the meeting." My concern is, if they love your music so much, than why the **** would they ask you to pay a fee of 200/500 or 1000 something dollars just to be on their artist consultanting services? Why would they invite/approve 80 to 100 inspiring artist to this??? And why do an artist have to pay a fee just to be at a meeting with the majors? Sounds fishy right? First of all, if you not the only one that's there, than there is no way you would get their attention. Second of all, these freelance A&R scammers don't promise you/everyone a recording contract, but they would do what they say they would do. Third of all, if they choose you and you get a recording contract, you have to prepare yourself first. You need to hirer a Lawyer to check out the contract to see if its legit or not. If you can spend thousands of dollars on fees, than you can spend anywhere from $50 an hour to a $1,000 an hour or more to hirer yourself a Lawyer.

So now that you are aware of the pros and cons of the music bussiness, I hope you make the right decisions for you and your career.
Anyone who signed up to PMP worldwide, Temp Music Management, Talent Scout Connect, or whatever site that's associated to them, it's all a RIP OFF! Please delete your accounts as soon as possible. Thank you for reading and I wish all of you well. Also, please do your research and please learn about the music bussiness before you do bussiness with anybody.

By the time most of these producers wake up from this "PMP" dreamstate.
It will be too late and money will be wasted. I have been telling them this. Stop following the crowd. The internet has a lot of REAL advantages going on that are working for producers.

Some just are hardheaded and for that money gone. i Laugh AT THE A&R wisdom that they tweet nowadays. It is hilarious. Telling artists things that just are not true.

Gulliable producers who do not read or research for their future. STARGAZERS at best.

A FOOL AND HIS MONEY WILL SOON DEPART

Anthony "Scoe" Walker, Conrad Dimanche, Riggs Morales, and Lenny S
are good friends. I bet they all in this scam together. I know Conrad from my cousin who use to work for Bad Boy as one of Diddy's staff workers back in the mid 90s. With the money situation, I think they split the money in half. They doing this for the money, and I bet they using some people's beats/songs and making tones of money out of it. They can distribute people's music without people's knowledge you know that? They would tell them they would use the beat for their artist to get on, but the truth is, they no longer work as an A&R REP.

I feel sorry for those who paid to do this shit... They will regret it someday.

This kind of stuff happen back in the 80's.

Yep that's the message people use to get from that fool scoe a couple of years ago. You can copy and paste that message on google and you will see many of those messages.

Check this shit out. 500 bucks just to get into a showcase??? Wtf! Back in the day, no showcase i've been to costed that much money. Usually it's free, but to get in the club, it would cost 10-15 bucks; depends on which club you go to.

All you do is call in, and you get on.

WHAT'S WEIRD IS THAT HE SENDS SPAM MESSAGES TO EVERYBODY'S COMMENT SECTION, SO EVERYONE WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE COMMENT.

A QUOTE FROM SOMEBODY WHO MADE A VALID POINT" If he is the director of A&R's at suavehouse, why is actively promoting his potential to get you meetings with other labels and not suavehouse?

If he is the director of A&R's at suavehouse, why is he acting like an A&R and contacting you on myspace, shouldn't he have staff to handle that?

If he is the director of A&R's at suavehouse, why didn't he ask for any of your contact information? Business deals are not done through myspace videos to prove their legitimacy, a simple "Hi I'm xxx from xxx and I'm interested in more of your music, call me at xxx xxx xxxx" would be a much more professional route than "google me, im not a game fam, check my myspace videos before hitting me back on myspace."

ok i'm confused....and sorry Nakitabenjamin if this is something you covered in your first post and i missed it. I believe you if these dudes are unemployed saying they work for major labels with major artists BUT theres tons of dudes like that on the internet and why are 3 dudes like that the reason the ENTIRE PMP site is a scam???

because i have to say that I know for sure over half of the label contacts for the track dumps available right now are legit personel that work for the label in charge of the project or work for the publishing company taking submissions

if your whole point of the post was about inquiries from people that you listed that are lying about their current situation then thats a risk worth taking for PMP and everytime i've been contacted by an artist or A&R, manager etc that was lying I did some simple research or asked some simple questions that told me the answer

lol i had an artist email me last week talking about how he was signing to a major label deal, being managed by a manager with major clients and had Lady Gaga's lawyer and he had names of his a&r, manager, and lawyer...I simply sent him a message back saying it would be great to work with him and if was looking for free beats we would need his manager or lawyer to write up a simple agreement and send it to us...never heard from him again

---------- Post added at 04:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:00 AM ----------

oh and by the way Lenny S was the contact for the Fabolous track dump in 2010 and there were multiple placements from PMP on his last mixtape that ended up being sold in stores

MY COMMENT: Any A&R that hit you up with a message from the internet without asking for your phone number to reach you, than it's a scam. It's common sense. If you go to sites like A&R Live, A&R Select, A&R Limited and you see that A&Rs are accepting demo submissions for a high price of 50-100 bucks per submission is a scam. Also, if they approve your music and then they send you a CONTRACT TO SIGN where you have to choose either Platinum Package/Gold Package/Silver Package or whatever, than it's a scam too.
FOR YEARS NOW, THERE ARE TONES OF A&RS SCAMMING PEOPLE AND NO BODY SEEMS TO NOTICE/PAY ATTENTION. YOU NEED TO BUY YOURSELF A COPY OF "THE BUSSINESS OF MUSIC" BOOK. LEARN ABOUT THE MUSIC BUSSINESS PLEASE. THAT IS WHY I DID THIS, BECAUSE I WANT YOU GETS TO BE INFORMED.

YOUR QUOTE: because i have to say that I know for sure over half of the label contacts for the track dumps available right now are legit personel that work for the label in charge of the project or work for the publishing company taking submissions

MY COMMENT: Yeah, and they could claim it's theres and take all the right's to your beats. Do you want that to happen? These so called A&Rs are thieves.

YOUR QUOTE: if your whole point of the post was about inquiries from people that you listed that are lying about their current situation then thats a risk worth taking for PMP and everytime i've been contacted by an artist or A&R, manager etc that was lying I did some simple research or asked some simple questions that told me the answer

MY COMMENT: Yeah, they do that shit on A&R live too. Its probably them pretending to be an artist or manager. They playing head games with you people. They got bots in that damn site. Musicians or managers are not suppose to contact beat makers, that's not their job. That's the A&R's job always. Managers are there to guide/help the artist. They responsible for getting the artist a graphic designer, publicist, and promoter. They books shows for them too. They also handle money and finances. That's it!

YOUR QUOTE: lol i had an artist email me last week talking about how he was signing to a major label deal, being managed by a manager with major clients and had Lady Gaga's lawyer and he had names of his a&r, manager, and lawyer...I simply sent him a message back saying it would be great to work with him and if was looking for free beats we would need his manager or lawyer to write up a simple agreement and send it to us...never heard from him again

MY COMMENT: Hmmm. What's the artist name? Do you know? That just doesn't sound right. Usually artist are very busy people. If you was to communicate with the artist through TWITTER or through phone, than that makes more sense.

If Fabulous bought the beat through PMP or any other source, than that could be why he got the beat if thats the case. Whoever owns the beat should be notified, and should get paid as well.

---------- Post added at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:41 AM ----------

You can sell your beats from a free site, not on pmp.

ok i'm not sure your familiar with PMP, and i'm not trying to diss you or anything I just think this is mostly a misunderstanding

the beats that got placed on the fabolous mixtape were most likely submited to him via the track dump on PMP and the producer WAS paid and recognized

and in my first reply my main point was that the contacts taking submissions for artists or their own company ARE LEGIT...there is no debate about alot of these names because they really work for these labels and alot of them have interviews on PMP...

for instance Mike Caren is a an A&R for Atlantic, VP of Elektra Records and owns the publshing company APG and he discovered DJ Frank E and M.D.L , signed them and have gotten them placements and made DJ Frank E one of the biggest producers in pop music right now....so that for instance is not a scam and many of the other contacts on PMP are also legit

and about the artist that contacted me he was just making all that stuff up that was just an example of the stuff happens selling beats anywhere online

I just said that. Read my QUOTE again.
If Fabulous bought the beat through PMP or any other source, than that could be why he got the beat if thats the case. Whoever owns the beat should be notified, and should get paid as well.

It's ridiculoud to pay 50 bucks a month just to sell your beats online. That's just retarded! You can sell your beats SOLO and pay atleast under 20 bucks a month. Theres about what? 500 or more people on that site?? Come on people, wake up! There is no way that everyone could win! You just wasting your time and money.

You can easily have your own website where you can sell your beats, PLUS! Artist can buy your beats online just by searching up FlyOrDieproductions through google dot com.

Why in the hell would Mike Caren be looking for beats??? He is a music producer for crying out loud. He probably not an A&R no more. That is a very bad sign.

I'm not going to argue with you anymore but it seems more and more each post that you are against PMP more than you are trying to warn PMP users about scamming....the only reason i jumped in this thread was because i thought you were giving PMP a bad wrap.

because now we're arguing about if I should be paying 50 bucks a month to sell my beats...and even though thats all up to me i'll just let you know that i've sold beats online before i joined PMP and my sales on PMP are much higher than anywhere else.

and just to quickly answer your other statements

there are 500 people on pmp and hundreds of thousands on soundclick

and mike caren is not looking for beats he is looking for producers for his publishing company

also my production teams name is O'Boy(pmpworldwide.com/oboy) the only places you will find our music on google is PMP, and our old soundclick and rocbattle sites

How am I against PMP??? For one, I could care less for PMP because i'm not a member on that site. PMP is just one of those sites that just after the money and so are the other A&R sites that allows people to submit beats and songs out of their pay check. I just trying to inform you all that these A&Rs are SCAMMERS and that's it! These "has been" A&Rs don't really care about the artist because for 1, they just in it for the money, and 2, it's not a fair price. 50 bucks a month is a lot, especially for a community site. Usually community site for beats are always suppose to be for free. If you have your own site where you can sell your beats, than under 50 bucks a month is a fair price. That is what i'm trying to explain to you. You can sell more beats and get more attention alone without having to compete with 500 to 1000 others. You can easily become a music producer doing it that way. If you truely a good music producer, than you can make it, but if you suck and others are better than you when it comes to their beats, than you will not get any attention or recognition.

MIKE CAREN PUBLISHING COMPANY???!!! OOOH MAN. HE GOING TO OWN HALF THE RIGHTS TO THOSE BEATS. THAT MEANS HE WILL GET PAID FOR YOUR BEATS, BUT NOT ALL OF IT. HE WOULD GET HALF THE MONEY AND YOU GET MAJORITY OF THE MONEY DEPENDING ON HOW WELL THE BEAT/SONG SELLS. YOU CAN GET YOUR OWN PUBLISHING COMPANY EASILY NOW DAYS. YOU WON'T HAVE TO SHARE MONEY BY LETTING SOME MUSIC PRODUCER TAKE HALF OF YOUR RIGHTS TO YOUR MUSIC. YOU CAN DO THAT SHIT ON YOUR OWN BY SIGNING UP AT BMI DOT COM. I'M TELLING YOU MAN, YOU CAN DO THAT SHIT FOR YOURSELF. THANK GOD THAT WE LIVE IN THIS GENERATION WHERE WE GET THIS KIND OF OPPORTUNITY. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY HAS CHANGE THE WAY THEY DO THINGS SINCE 2009.

IT'S YOUR CHOICE RATHER YOU **** UP OR NOT. YOU MIGHT REGRET IT. IF YOU DON'T REALIZE IT NOW, ONE DAY YOU WILL REALIZE I'M RIGHT.

DON'T LET THESE EX A&R'S OR MUSIC PRODUCERS OWN YOUR RIGHT'S TO YOUR MUSIC. I'M TELLING YOU MEN, THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED ARE HAPPY TO BE MAKING EASY MONEY BY PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE MUSIC BUSSINESS.

---------- Post added at 03:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:09 AM ----------

If anyone wants to get signed to Interscope Records, you can go to their website and sign up to be on tunecore/INTERSCOPE DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION. I believe it cost you 9 dollars to submit one song and 38 dollars to submit a full album.

Pretty soon the other record labels will get their own distribution with tunecore too. You have a few choices for distributors, each with
their own benefits.

INVALID

You've just exposed yourself for being misinformed and/or fraudulent by saying Lenny S and Riggs do not work at their perspective labels when in fact that they do to this day. And questioning whether Mike Caren is still an A&R at Atlantic when he's currently an Sr Exec A&R and Co-President of Elektra further makes you look like a fool so stop it. And Anthony Scoe never worked for Def Jam, but people that are actually in this business know that.

Learn how to research properly before you call yourself 'informing' anybody about anything because its obvious you don't have a clue. A lesson for you on your first 'rant session' post on FP lol...

Shouldn't slander professional gentlemen that way...

Hey Conrad Dimanche, how are you today? My name is Nakita, I just came across a vid on Youtube about you looking for the next big thing, and to my surprise, I had to contact you up about it. Thank you for this opportunity. I'm really psyched about this opportunity. About me, I am 22 years old from Miami Florida, and my signature sound is Spunky Funk. I produce my own music, write my own songs, and create/make my own beats most of the time. I never gone to a recording studio before. I usually do all my music from a software called Mixcraft, Pro-tools and GoldWave which I do all my recording, editing, and mastering from. I would like for you to check out my songs and see if you think I have potential. www.myspace.com/nakitabenjamin
If you like what you hear, please give me a call at 954-985-8756 or you can email me at nakitabenjamin@gmail.com. If I or no one picks up, than leave me a message, or email me instead, and I'll call you back as soon as possible. Have a great day.

Ok cool, I'm interested no matter what. I can send you the amount of songs I have for you to check out through your gmail account. Yes, send me your gmail address please. So if I get accepted, are you going to fly to my hometown to see me? Is that how it works? Or I have to fly to come see y'all? Is there a place where I have to go to meet y'all? What if I don't have that kind of money on me? I never own that kind of money before, I wish I had that kind of money to pay you upfront, but, is there any other way I can pay you back?

This is the type of nonsense that my colleagues have to deal with... why do you think they have to charge to vouch on people. As usual FP, we didn't get it did we?

I don't see anything wrong with what she did. She inquired about the site as a novice. Then she did research. So you post here private email for all to see. Unprofessional.

You have every right to defend your company, but you guys and your followers always show lack of professionalism. I never see any other company with that lack of respect.
She is right about how some A&R CONSULTANT ARE SCAMMING though. That is not a FALSEHOOD cause the game has laid off so many, so they are using their rep to stay afloat.

I don't think PMP is a scam, but I do think it is a hell of a business model for producers with eye candy in their eyes. You can't knock the hustle, you just watch suckas get took on thier lack of doing due diligence.

But somehow it's professional for this young lady to slander gentlemen and accuse them of being frauds. She used their names but the emails showing her hypocritical approach is unprofessional?

Fine if that's how it is...
