track dumps are all reviewed....so just because u submit a track thru the track dump does not mean it will reach the person you've intended it for

in the information provided on the site, it says that their "industry professionals" will "screen" all submissions before they get to the artist/manager/A&R's folder

this is to ensure that only quality joints is being heard......

which is why i said, if u dont think ur music is at a level of the likes of all the platinum producers out now, then do not bother....

i continuously tell cats to quite thinkin **** is gonna pop off overnight....there will be times where it takes 2 or 3 yrs for a submission to place anywhere...u need to be patient

and if u dont think ur up to par, then dont waste your money hoping to luck out....because it aint about hot beats....its about being consistent as well......bc theres plenty of cats who have long lists of placements who are still broke working at a warehouse

Truth.

All those subscriptions. Good looks. I'm at 6 myself. lol.

i had an account here a lonnnnng time ago and recently somebody hacked my account and was over here pretending to be me...lol

so i figured what the hell, and started reading some threads on here....

i'm more known on rapmusic.com and rocbattle.com

So with pmp...how do you track the traffic to your site? Can you communicate with others? Can you listen to others music? Can you promote yourself? OR is it just a sign up, dump the tracks and wait type thing?

right now u cant track traffic....soliciting to A&Rs are pretty much prevented...u just have to bring that heat, submit...and make them find you.....

So how many people are on pmp? Do you guys dump every track you have to every submission? If not, how many tracks do you dump? And the dumps that are there (like 8 or 9)...are those the only ones there?

don't want to add one more question to Proper T's (good questions) but i was wondering is there a limit to how many songs you can up on your page?

and have any of you upped tracks that are unavailable but are fiya in order to showcase your talents?

i'm about to head out right know and get a prepaid card, still waiting on a different one, and sign up for the monthly subscription for awhile before i decide to save some money and get the 6-12 month deal. i just hope pmp doesn't have the preautherization policy for credit cards.

the track dumps will have a description of what the rep is looking for, try to stay within the boundaries of what they are looking for....they say to keep it at 2 - 3 submissions....do not overkill them with a buncha tracks...

7th angel...the limit is 15, there is a feature that allows u to mark certain tracks unavailable if all you are doing is showcasing

respect on the info, not really just showcasing but i have one tune i love, but i sold it already. it's kinda sick, i rarely compliment myself, in that 90's hip hop vibe, but i since made more stuff, but i was just curious about the 'unavailable' tag. probably best if you recently sold it and you need time to finish new ish.

anyways i'm gone before these muthas close. good lookin' out.

terrible.....

Haha. I don't necessarily think it's terrible, but that opening vocal always immediately gets me to switch to the next beat. There's just something about I really don't like.

ehhh....that beat is simply annoying.....thats the best description for it.....

I think that's one of the worst beats on the whole damn site. Seriously.

That vocal sample is off key from the rest of the beat, and it's off beat too.

And that vocal sample just SUCKS period.

"I was born..." Yeah...unfortunately.

had to check what you guys were talking about. umm o.k.

he's still a kid. that other beat even though it's repetitive is better than the one pmp picked.

when i finally get this **** right i'll make sure and not have a useless bio, ****, my myspace about me which i did in less than a minute is more professional, but whatever. one mans whore is another mans wife

i was just checking out the homepage and i think its a little bit unfair the way the featured producers list is set up.like it has known producers who have a already had beats on major albums and they probably already have contacts and better advantages than every1 else that is trying to come up...

They should have other people that have good beats on their, not just those guys.
